Pros: - quiet
- look good
- rubber grommets
Cons: - rubber grommets
Other Thoughts: i really really like the fans, they are super quiet and push good air. my stock case fans where starting to get noisy, its a day and night difference between the two.
the ONLY problem i had with the fans... the rubber grommets and the hardware. the grommets hold a plastic piece which the screw self threads into. well when i installed them, the screws are soo tight that it ripped out one of the plastic pieces from the rubber grommet housing. when you begin tightening the screws you can see the rubber pieces twist and pull. maybe they should change the screw size so they screw in easily as they self tap in to the plastic. i had to shove the plastic bit back into the torn piece of rubber and hope that it stays in place, it did... but the screw goes in at a bit of an angle so now the screw does not sit flush on the top of the case
been others complained about how the screws dont work or its hard to install. maybe they just get random bad batches of screws sent to them.
aside from that issue im acceptionaly happy with the fans
This review is from: ASUS P8H61-M LE/CSM R2.0 LGA 1155 Intel H61 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros: it has all the things i want/need for a simple build
Cons: will not boot up, keeps cycling through the first phase of boot. gives me a beep, then resets, beep, reset, beep, reset, etc, etc...
i installed windows 7, it loads my desktop for the first time, then decides it wants to shut down after about 5 seconds. after shut down it restarts by its self then begins the eternal loop of beep and reset. aside from the initial installation of windows i can never make it inside the OS at all. i have traded out the RAM to one that is listed as compatible by the user manuel. tried a different power supply. swapped out hard drives. unplugged all unnecessary components, but nothing works.
Other Thoughts: the build is as follows.
- ASUS P8H61-M LE/CSM R2.0 LGA 1155 Intel H61
- i3-3225 Dual-Core Processor 3.3 GHz
- WD Blue 1 TB Desktop Hard
- Corsair Builder Series CX 500 Watt ATX/EPS
- G.skill 4gb F3-10666CL8D-4GBHK
- win7 64
This review is from: RAZER Imperator Black 7 Buttons USB Wired Laser 5600 dpi Ergonomic Gaming Mouse
-adjustable side thumb buttons
-smooth clicking of all buttons
-on the fly dpi changing
-the software that helps you set up your mouse is simple and works
-i bought this as a referb and saved some cash
Cons: it might be a little to light for some, even for me. but its something i easily got used to.
Other Thoughts: the shape and feel of this mouse in my hand blows my mind... i use the finger tip grip, my fingers hold the mouse and move it around rather than my whole hand. im neither claw nor palm style so most gaming mice did not work well wth me. either too flat, or my fingers would slip off the sides. the shape of this mouse fits my hold perfectly.
i will admit... i do like heavier mice... but im already used to it. the tracking is soo smooth, i suffer from motion sickness when i play FPS games. but with this mouse its significantly helped because its smooth and dosent chop its way around the screen.
