They work

Rosewill RMNA-11001 Universal automatic Notebook Power Adapter 90W
Rosewill RMNA-11001 Universal automatic Notebook Power Adapter 90W

Pros: Price, larger umber of adapter tips than most other universal adapters. I've used 4 of these in the computer shop and i own 2 more myself, and they all work great. No crackling or whining noises like some other inexpensive universal adapters.

Cons: Some of the connectors seem less snug than one would expect when in use, but they still supply power to charge and run the machines.

Overall Review: I'll probably buy more. I hope they aren't discontinued when that time comes.

Tek Republic TUH-200 USB 3.0 + USB 2.0 4-Port Hub
Tek Republic TUH-200 USB 3.0 + USB 2.0 4-Port Hub

Pros: 1 USB 3.0 port. 3 USB 2.0 ports. It is what it is.

Cons: ONLY 1 USB 3.0 PORT! I bought this while I was in a hurry, and didn't notice that of the 4 ports on this, 3 of them are USB 2.0 ports.

Overall Review: I was looking for a 4-port USB 3.0 hub. Pay attention to what you are buying. The one time I didn't, I got this device. And to made the error more painful; I had purchased two.

LG 22X DVD Burner - Bulk 22X DVD+R 8X DVD+RW 22X DVD-R 6X DVD-RW 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-R 32X CD-RW 48X CD-ROM Black SATA Model GH22LS50 LightScribe Support

Pros: Great at everything it is designed for. I bought two to speed the process of reading from one to burn to the other. Almost no coasters, and those were junky Magnavox brand from Office max (20 of 100 from a 100-pack. I stay with better brands now, no store-brand stuff either.).

Cons: One of these two burners I bought is no longer reliable at burning and has occasional read errors. It makes a high-pitch whining noise when in use. I can hear it even when the old in-wall air conditioner over my desk is active (and that thing is LOUD).

Overall Review: Considering that I have read and burned quite possibly several hundred (probably over 1000) dvds and cds with the two burners combined (I have the towers of empty 25, 50, and 100-pack spindle containers to back that up), I think I got pretty decent longevity from them. I am just waiting for the other shoe to drop (waiting for the other one to fail) and I'll have to get two new burners. This model cost me $27.99 in 12/2009.

almost 3 years and still going strong

Thermaltake CLP0579 120mm Contac 30 Intel LGA-2011 Ready 160W TDP Heatpipe Direct-contact Technology CPU Cooler
Thermaltake CLP0579 120mm Contac 30 Intel LGA-2011 Ready 160W TDP Heatpipe Direct-contact Technology CPU Cooler

Pros: This heatsink/fan has kept my cpu cool for almost 3 years and is still quiet. Great longevity and quality for the money($32.99 in 10/2010). Glossy fan doesn't collect dust as much as the non-glossy fans. when the dust does collect, it's easier to notice and clean off the fan. I used this with an AMD Athlon 64 X2 Kuma 7750 2.7GHz Black Edition and could overclock to 3.0GHz and keep it stable. When I upgraded to an AMD Phenom2 X4 965 3.4Ghz Black Edition, I overclocked it to a stable 3.9GHz. I put it though the Prime95 "torture test" for 24 hours and the temp never went above 57degrees Celsius.

Cons: The rubber fan mounts are somewhat difficult to deal with (however they do almost eliminate vibration noise from the fan). The installation for this requires it to be positioned so that the airflow will be going toward the top of the case or down toward the bottom of the case. I wanted the exhaust to go out the back of the case, not up into my power supply or down onto my graphics card. The power supply gets warmer than when I had the stock cooler installed because of this issue.

Overall Review: I bought this after I bought the computer case (Rosewill Conqueror). If I had known about the installation issue in the "Con"section, I would have bought a different case where the PSU mounted on the bottom, or, bought a different heatsink/fan that aimed the exhaust out the back of the case..

Good Idea. Implementation: not quite perfect/

ZALMAN FG1000 Black 6 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired 2000 dpi Gun Mouse
ZALMAN FG1000 Black 6 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired 2000 dpi Gun Mouse

Pros: The idea of it is exactly what I want. A joystick blended with a gaming mouse.

Cons: Not quite perfect. The handle is too short. Cord placement.

Overall Review: This needs to be closer to the joystick side of the family. some design tweeks could make it perfect. Make the handle more like a joystick. Reposision the cord, maybe make it wireless. I don't own one, but with the design tweeks, I would probably buy one.

It quit after a couple of months.

Team F108 32GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive (Golden) Model TG032GF108N3
Team F108 32GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive (Golden) Model TG032GF108N3

Pros: Metal case, 32GB, USB 3.0, the cap clips on the back end when in use (thankfully, as that dims the light at that end). It was a few dollars less than the rest at this capacity/speed, at $27.99.

Cons: It died after about two months. It just stopped working. No lights (when it was working, it had a bright red light on the end), no recognition by ANY computer that it was even plugged in. I never even used it on anything but USB 2.0 machines (factory, and custom built).

Overall Review: It died right as I was starting to depend on it. It was kept with 5 other flash drives, in a sturdy nylon case with a padded interior, designed to hold 6 flash drives, much better treatment than most of them get (and it still failed). I have a Patriot Memory 8GB XPORTER XT that got the connector bent between 2 and 5 degrees, and that still works more that a year after that damage occurred.
