StarTech USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet NIC Network Adapter - Add Gigabit Ethernet network connectivity to a Laptop or Desktop through a USB port - usb 3.0 to gigabit ethernet - usb 3.0 gigabit adapter - usb 3.0 to ethernet - usb 3.0 adapter
  • neweggOwned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: Works, but only with the correct driver! See "Other Thoughts"

Cons: Eh, took some work to get it to function normally.

Other Thoughts: This USB adapter (USB31000S) would constantly drop packets and not load web pages when using drivers from StarTech's website both on Windows 7 32bit and Linux Mint 15 32bit. Went to the actual chipset manufacturer to get the drivers and it worked perfectly on Windows 7 after that, haven’t had a chance to test on Linux yet. Search for AX88179 on under Support > Download > Drivers and let your troubles be over.

Rosewill RS-M136-BK Black SECC Steel MicroATX Tower Computer Case 350W Power Supply

  • neweggOwned For: less than 1 day

Pros: For the price (30 bucks) its pretty good. Comes with a basic power supply, and the metal is decent quality for this price range. Does the job for a budget build.

Cons: The first thing I didn't like was that you can only screw in the HDD and DVD drive from one side, the other side has pressure tabs only. The second thing I didn't care for was the integrated motherboard mounting system, I prefer normal stand-offs instead of the raised case stand-offs.

Other Thoughts: Bought this case mainly for the fact that it was a Rosewill Power Supply/Case together. Been using Rosewill PSU's for a cheap alternative for awhile now and have not been let down yet.

5 out of 5 eggs Best for the Price 08/08/2009

This review is from: GARMIN 3.5" GPS Navigation with Voice Prompts

Pros: Free Map Update after you register it within the first 60 days of acquiring satellites. Mine shipped with 2009 maps but the free update got me the 2010 maps. For the price you can't beat this! Twice as fast as the Nuvi 200 when calculating routes and recalculating routes. Loads of features that I never expected would be on a GPS for this cheap of a price. Shows the speed limit on all the MAJOR roads around my area, Interstates-Highways-Etc. Too much other stuff to list, buy it and you'll love it!

Cons: Not the most up to date maps for my area. Mostly new construction stuff that threw it off and wasn't on the latest update, but it will still get you to where you are going one way or another.

Other Thoughts: Custom vehicles you can download from Garmin or from other sites. Custom POI's that are free to download from websites across the web.
