It's windows 7
Pros: Is there really anything I can say that isn't already known? Its a great Operating System and certainly is better then Windows 8 as far as desktop user friendliness.
Cons: Nothing to say here.
Overall Review: I hope Windows 9 is a step up from 8 and puts some of the nice old 7 back into its step.
Fourth Months of bliss destroyed in one night
Pros: Very large size, holds all my videos, digital shows and digital movies in one place. Also held a good amount of my music from iTunes and let me take my jams anywhere. It was relatively fast. I didn't expect much out of a SD card. But it did its job well for the four months I owned it.
Cons: After four months to the day of buying this product. I cherished it. I witnessed it's capacity for holding all of my data in one location. Then it died this morning and now I'm writing this. My phone stopped reading it, I tried putting it on my PC and it asked me to insert a disk, then asked me to format it. I have had a similar experience with a PNY card just a week prior to buying this one and its fair to say formatting the card just made matters worse. This card lost all of my 30 Gb of data, some of it I hadn't had the chance to back it up yet. I love Sandisk, some of their flash drives are awe inspiring, but this card only lasted me four months and I have a stock 1 Gb card from six years ago that still works. So I am putting this down as a faulty card. Like a four month trial version that you still end up paying for.
Overall Review: It was all around a good product until it died. I rather liked it and debated getting a larger card of the same kind. Now that is basically all I can do. I might go to Kingston this time, kind of compare and contrast the different companies. So far SanDisk is in the lead with 3 months and 3 weeks over PNY. So good job so far.
Works great after nearly a year
Pros: Wonderful daily driver for someone that has a home desktop, but needs a small laptop that is fast and powerful enough to be able to operate for long periods of time without the home desktop. Great for office work, great for homework, wonderful for browsing the web and some really basic productivity stuff.
Cons: Gets a bit hot when running things like Bluestacks, but it's a Dell product. It does come with limited storage space, BUT does have the option to expand it with another mSATA SSD. Also recommend to get a external portable HDD for those that prefer having a lot of shows/movies/music on their computers.
Overall Review: I usually break my laptop when I hit the one year mark, but this one doesn't show any issues like my other ones have (hinge, battery, and shorting issues). So I am hopeful it is the first that will be able to stay with me for a lot longer than just one year.
Well, this was nice.
Pros: Runs Bluray and comes with the software to run it. A great buy for anyone looking to not have to deal with the troubles that comes with normal Bluray writers.
Cons: BUT WAIT! There's more! Come to find out that my VGA monitor can't run the software because it lacks some HD thing. I have to admit, this set me back because I can't exactly deal with this issue, so I pretty much just got something really expensive and fancy for show when I probably will rarely use it now.
Overall Review: Again, Software. I hate that kind of stuff.
Fast
Pros: Its a very good device to use when you need it. Doesn't have any moving parts so it isn't going to suffer the problems of a Hard Disk Drive. My PC boots up fast and shuts down faster.
Cons: Nothing wrong with the part. I forgot to set the RAID to 0. My bad, better luck net time. Other then that. Price. If it was $100 cheaper, I would have gotten three of them.
Overall Review: Really, I would buy another one of these if I wasn't getting charge so much. Might get a PCI-E variant and just live with it.
Is it supposed to be this cold?
Pros: Keeps the CPU colder then anything I have ever seen. Lowest temp was 3 degrees, highest was 54 and that was running a really really powerful game. Handles my 3770k i7 like a charm.
Cons: It was really hard to install and I had to use my own thermal paste because there wasn't enough.
Overall Review: If they gave me more paste, it would have gone a lot better.
