Klipsch is tops
Pros: Excellent clarity and fidelity to original source. Classical music comes alive. The piano sonatas show off its depth. Good footprint (this is important if you live with partner) and quick response. I cannot detect any distortion. The price for this is amazingly low.
Cons: none whatsoever
Overall Review: Klipsch has been top-of-the-line for over 50 years. I have owned six and have and continue to be a devotee of the company. If you are on a budget put your money into a Klipsch SubWoofer and a Klipsch center channel speaker. There are very few products that get 100% 5-Star ratings and this one deserves it.
Disappointed
Pros: They are easy to setup. They have a small footprint.
Cons: The sound volume is extremely weak. With computer volume set at max and speaker volume at max I can barely hear voices and music is largely lost. I am tossing these in the thrift store bag and looking for a new pair. I did not expect at this price I would get great sound quality. It never ocurred to me that I would not get sound volume.
Overall Review: These are unusable and the first product i have received from Logitech (after dozens and dozens) that was poor.
Best Keyboard Yet
Pros: The lighted keyboard has been a huge improvement to my computing. I have used wired, wireless and Bluetooth keyboards (Including the DiNova Edge) for more than 30 years but this one beats them all. Key press is solid and not spongy. The lighting is adjustable in four steps (including off.) The keys are quiet and durable (no sign of wear after nearly a year.) Takes up small space on table.
Cons: None that I have found. Logitech makes good stuff and this is their best.
Overall Review: If your eyes need a break this will do it. Especially in a darkened room the keyboard is clearly visible without being a distraction to anybody. You can kind of get that I like it.
Feeble Results
Pros: One of the few units that do not need a separate controller board if you have the right eSATA capabilities. It holds four drives and installation is easy. The unit seems well made.
Cons: Windows 7 recognized the unit and after setting it up and formatting it there were only 2GB available, even though the unit held 4 1GB units. That was step one. After that first week Windows does not find the unit at all. The unit says it is ok, but no joy in Windows.
Overall Review: Although I have been working in computers since 1962 and feel very comfortable with new technology. This unit has not been worth the effort yet to repair it. I am over the 30 day return and it is just sitting there using power for nothing,
Nifty tool
Pros: bright small flexible useful
Cons: no instructions at all, even on the box light did not turn on could not open base (see below)
Overall Review: This is funny - I could not unscrew the end of the tool to insert the battery. I took it to a local building supply store and the three guys there were facinated with the tool One took apart the lens and behold - the battery was there (a small disk battery) behind the bulb. Also there was a small paper disk blocking the battery from use. So take the paper out before use.
Failed before 6 months
Pros: Small footprint adequate performance.
Cons: Onboard video chip failed in the 6th month - scrolls all pages to bottom line and will not allow movement above that line. Gateway service is frustrating has no idea what is wrong. They are slow. 7-10 days after they receive before they resend. There is only one expansion slot and it is way to small a space for any regular board or video board.
Overall Review: I bought the extended warranty and Gateway does not honor it. Choose who to send to? Dissatisfied with the whole system.
