4 out of 5 eggs 11/28/2010

This review is from: LG 42" 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV 42LD520

Pros: Great TV for the price
Im very happy with the picture quality and the response times.

Cons: Box was beat to hell when it arrived here. TV actually worked, to my surprise.

USB should play video. I heard its possible to unlock usb video support, but I have no clue how to do that.

Item was 599.99 after -$200 promo code

Pros: Good price. Fit in my case. Doesn't take up two slots.

Cons: Fan is extremely loud. Performance is not the best.

I noticed frame 'stuttering' in games despite framerate being reported as solid. Noticed a few graphical glitches as well, which left me concerned.

Other Thoughts: I will probably RMA in the next ffew days. My board has onboard graphics....which sucks comparatively, but wont force me to shell out cash for a replacement card.

Pros: Fan design sucks the hot air out of case.
Fair price

Cons: When computer is off and PCI-E cable is used, theres a high frequency noise. Like that of the standard definition TV's.

Other Thoughts: I also notice stuttering in a game. Possibly related to this psu
