This review is from: OKGEAR OK4250 2.5" SATA HDD to USB 3.0 Adapter w/ Cable & Silicon Protection Case
Pros: Really cheap and does the job. Not sure what some people are talking about saying it doesn't have 2 ports on the hdd side.. I've been able to use it on every computer I've tried it with. Haven't tried a mac but I wouldn't be surprised at all if it didn't work with it. But then again what does work with them. Very happy costumer!
Other Thoughts: I like the silicon case.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: This drive saved my laptop. It used to run with the fan on full blast and was insanely hot, now I literally can't feel anything coming out of the vent. I have a 32 nm i7 processor so my computer is extremely fast now. This drive is probably limited by my laptop. I ran benchmark test when i first bought it and dont remember the exact numbers but it was extremely close to the given specs. The battery life went from like 1 hour to a little over 4 depending on what I'm doing of course. Total boot up time is about 20 seconds now compared to the 2 to 3 minutes before lol. Installation took maybe 2 minutes.. Overall I'm very satisfied with this drive.
Cons: In a year it will probably be worth $100 dollars compared to the $220 i paid for it. But that's just how things work I guess.READ FULL REVIEW
