This review is from: Thermaltake Level 10 GT Snow Edition (VN10006W2N) White and Black SECC / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case with Four Fans - 1 x 200mm side, 1 x 200mm top, 1 x 200mm front, 1 x 140mm rear
Pros: I love this case. The size and the white/black paintjob makes it really stand out from the crowd. Cable routing was excellent. All areas were very roomy, well designed, and I have no major complaints. Did I say I love this case?
Cons: No real complaints.
Other Thoughts: I think that I'd rather have headers to connect to the motherboard because I overclock, and that would have made it possible for my software to read the fan speeds and temps. Apparently this is all handled by the case itself. There is a fan indicator on the top, but no adjustments that I could find, nor detailed readouts.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: CORSAIR Hydro Series H80 (CWCH80) High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler
Pros: this unit keeps my i7 2600K very cool - 20 deg. C at idle, around 30 using prime95. Even when i overclocked from 3.4 to 4.5, the cpu temps were under 45 deg. C. I wish the H100 had been out a couple weeks ago, but that's life.
Cons: Not really. The spider behind the cpu was a little difficult to adjust but it was a good design. Not sure but I think they used a bit much paste.
Other Thoughts: I'm not too thrilled about having the fans and radiator shoving air into the case - if they made the hoses just a little longer, I could mount it outside the case. Sure it would look silly, but it would run cooler.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: This item gets high marks for quality, finish, and performance. I think it's an excellent power supply.
Cons: my unit came without a cable to go to the cpu connector. The pin arrangements would not allow connection to my
GIGABYTE GA-Z68X-UD7-B3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 SATA . I contacted Silverstone by email and was answered fairly quickly. Unfortunately the person who wrote back said that he used a cable on one of the power supplies and it fit on 3 or 4 motherboards he had lying around, thereby implying I was idiot. I actually had to splice together two of the supplied cables just to get one that would fit. It is not acceptable that a $200+ power supply would not have a cable that my $350 motherboard required. It seems to me that the thing to do would be to simply send me the correct cable! But they didn't even suggest this.
Other Thoughts: Service is important - when I buy a top of the line type product, I do expect decent service.READ FULL REVIEW
