This review is from: Cooler Master Hyper TX3 - CPU Cooler with 3 Direct Contact Heatpipes
Pros: -Good air flow
-Push/Pull made easy
-Push fan high enough to clear RAM
Cons: -Large - Even with a full tower, this things stands tall. Mid-sized case owners beware.
-Can be a bit loud when at load. Nothing bad, just sounds like air moving, no other mechanical noises.
Other Thoughts: You really can't get much better temps for the price of this thing. I opted for this model simply because it was smaller than the 212. I have a AMD 6300 any temps never got about 38 celcius when playing BF4 (Used Arctic silver paste). Also, to my amazement the push fan cleared my G-Skill rip jaw RAM heat spreader by at amost 2mm.
Highly recommend this cooler.
Pros: Can play every game I own on max video options. Has been stable, no crashing.
Cons: Very large. It fits in my full size server tower but I can see it being an issue for some. Ran a bit hot for my taste. Used physX software to control temp\fan speed automatically. This dropped the card temp by 10 degrees but still averaging 65 degrees. Making the onboard GPU fan spin faster will add some noise for sure but not a deal breaker.
Other Thoughts: My processor is not the best out there (AMD +6300) but coupled with this card I am averaging roughly 70 FPS in BF on max settings. I was pleasantly suprised.
Using the default geforce experience recommendations this card was averaging over 100 FPS.
Side note - If you use the geforce experience application to make recommended GPU settings per game, don't always trust it. It can handle much more than the recommended values it sets.
