Took a few tries, but it works...
Pros: Very fast connection times and throughput.
Cons: It takes a while to reboot, and even then you may not get a proper behavior. The installed firmware would sometimes confuse which network you are on; i.e. one router would take on the identity of the other, when the latter had been powered off!
Overall Review: I had to update the firmware for this and another WR841N router (v5) to 3.12.5 before WDS started to work. I also plan, according to other feedback on this site, to properly cool these devices to prevent premature frying.
arrived damaged
Pros: It looks good, and tilts.
Cons: The footrest itself was cracked into two pieces, since there was no styrofoam or other support in the box.
Overall Review: The shipper (not Newegg) should consider using a real shipping box, rather than slapping a UPS label on the retail package.
works well.
Pros: Charged and paired quickly, battery time was excellent. Voice Announce is a little loud, but OK. Conversations were clear even at 10 feet.
Cons: A bit long, but thin.
Overall Review: For its original price of $78, I would have liked an LCD display. I just wanted a bluetooth speaker with good voice quality, but sometimes you want it to be quiet. p.s. echo cancellation does not include feedback!
Pros: Works great; connection takes about 3-5 seconds after inserting adapter. The antenna allows me to see 5 more routers than I could without (!). The USB extension cord is not even necessary on a stationery PC, but is great for laptop. high speed is good enough for HD; too bad DSL is not!
Cons: None yet.
Overall Review: I had a BSOD on the 2nd reboot after installing the driver. But rebooting again fixed it. Don't know what that was about.
Great range.
Pros: Excellent range (>10 ft). Has an on-off button, unlike M$ mouse. Small USB adapter.
Cons: The scroll button is a little hard to push; this is not as important as the range for an HTPC.
Worthless
Pros: None. Why does every usb network producer have to reinvent windows configuration?
Cons: Doesn't work. At all.
Overall Review: I have bought TP-Link routers, and they do work. This product must be a dud, but I can't recommend it as a repeat buy.
