Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 - Core 2 Duo Wolfdale Dual-Core 3.0 GHz LGA 775 65W None Integrated Graphics Processor - BX80570E8400
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 - Core 2 Duo Wolfdale Dual-Core 3.0 GHz LGA 775 65W None Integrated Graphics Processor - BX80570E8400

Pros: The included heatsink is amazing, you'll never need to buy another one again.

Cons: The processor is garbage, throw it away - the heatsink alone is worth the price.

Overall Review: ITS OPPOSITE DAY!!!!!

ASUS WL-500GP V2 802.11b/g Multi-Functional Wireless Router with x2 USB Plug-N-Share hard drive function and Print Server Function
ASUS WL-500GP V2 802.11b/g Multi-Functional Wireless Router with x2 USB Plug-N-Share hard drive function and Print Server Function

Pros: Works good for about a year, as many have said. Adds some nice contrast to my mostly black office setup. Lotta options for custom firmware that work great...

Cons: ...for about a year. Asus's firmware isn't too great and is pretty buggy, I wouldn't recommend this unless you are going to be flashing it. Unless you enjoy buying new routers every year, I'd say avoid this junk.

Overall Review: After about 10 months of owning it, the router seemed to reset itself to the default settings every time it was restarted, making it so I couldn't change any settings from the default (unsecured wireless networks are fun for others living around you, they love free internet). A few months after that, my computer wont recognize that the router is connected to it. GG Asus.

Netgear Disappoints Again

NETGEAR GA311 Gigabit Adapter 10/100/1000Mbps PCI 1 x RJ45
NETGEAR GA311 Gigabit Adapter 10/100/1000Mbps PCI 1 x RJ45

Pros: they print a cool picture on the back of the pcb. apparently that's what a vast majority of the (very limited) production costs go to, as they don't go towards developing functional drivers, support, or quality products.

Cons: After my built in gigabit ethernet adapter kicked the bucket during a lightning storm, i went out to get a new NIC locally. Picked up this one, as the box proclaims that you can visit netgear's site for win 7 drivers. after downloading and installing, trying various different drivers, etc i cannot get this to work at all with windows 7 64 bit. like just about everything netgear makes these days, this is utter junk and not something they care to support. windows 7 has been out for over a year now and they still can't get it right. with horrible support, horrible routers, and horrible NIC cards, i cant see any reason why anyone should ever buy from netgear when any other option is a better choice.

Overall Review: don't buy netgear products, they are a horrible company that isn't concerned about the quality of the products they put out.
