Pros: Setup was pretty basic. Bios update was quick and easy. Manual isn't very helpful for novices, but fine for anyone who has built a system before.
Cons: Board was flimsy by the 24 pin power connector from the get go. Power turned off if the connector wiggled a little. It functioned fine for 2 years as long as you didn't try to move the computer while it was on. Eventually I got random freezing. After months I narrowed down to the board. I'm not too pleased, as the problem increased to render my computer unusable. I was hoping a board over $100 wouldn't be the first thing I needed to replace when I didn't spend a ton on a GPU or RAM.
Other Thoughts: I probably should have sprung for the Extreme 4 anyway. Now I'm very hesitant to replace it with an ASRock board at all even though they seem to be toward the ideal range in terms of value for your dollar.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Excellent speeds, not issues with installation or anything else for almost a year now.
Other Thoughts: This drive is small enough that anyone installing an operating system on it should absolutely consider moving their default libraries to another storage drive.
My knowledge and experience with SSD's is low. Windows 7 pro boot time is just over 20 seconds with my FX-8350 and ASRock Extreme3 990X mobo.
Pros: No problems with install, working properly for almost a year now in two different machines
Other Thoughts: The sticks are quite large, and it can be a problem for some third party CPU coolers or ITX cases. It barely fits with my Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo.READ FULL REVIEW
