Pros: Loaded with Intel 6700K, 64gb G.Skill 3200C DDR4, Intel 750 series PCIe SSD and Nvidia M4000 Quadro. Build was relatively easy and was able to get a bios screen in about 2-3 hours. With just a couple of bios tweaks, was able to run at 4.5ghz, just to say so. Didn't really use the included Asus because in Win10 pro the setting as administrator are not passed to standard users. The bios update from USB worked without OS installed as advertised. Did not really use the colored LED features since the PC box did not have a window side.
Cons: A couple of the screw tiedowns to the PC Box were difficult to lower a screw into because of the higher level shielding plate. However, the shielding was appreciated as additional device protection. Remember to install anything under the water cooler fans on the motherboard before screwing down the fans in the back of the PC box
Other Thoughts: Even with the rather high price, I would recommend this product.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: This was my second choice after Samsung could not deliver on time their 960 SSD devices. The motherboard, Asus Maximus VIII Formula, recognized the Intel 750 as bootable and was able to install Win10 Pro with default drivers. Intel's included small size disk appeared to be useless. Tested IO rates were on par with advertised values.
Cons: The Intel 750 series bios/firmware update method was confusing at best. The included desktop app, Intel SSD Toolbox is NOT the method to update the firmware. The actual method is found by wondering Intel webpages until you find a process where a boot DVD or USB stick is created and then boot the PC from it to perform the update.
Other Thoughts: The USB hub is tethered from a port off the monitor, who's ports are hiden on the backside, to create four USB ports right on the desktopREAD FULL REVIEW
Pros: Bought four of these 8tb drives and all were fine and powered up.
Other Thoughts: Great archive and movie storage choice at an affordable price.READ FULL REVIEW
