This review is from: Fujitsu ScanSnap S1300 Instant PDF Sheet-Fed Mobile Scanner (PA03603-B005)
Pros: my usage is mainly household, for almost every piece of mail that I want to keep for records.
works very well with few paper jams; duplex scanning a big advantage; software suite is actually quite good
Cons: for long sheets, or sheets with folds, it does have trouble keeping the paper straight -- the feeder guides could use a redesign
on occasion, it's not recognized when cover is opened -- usually replugging USB fixes it
for single-sided sheets, it sometimes inserts a blank page (as if it's a 2-sided doc)
Other Thoughts: the software for organizing the scans is very good -- just gives a cabinet interface to the filesystem. the program to manipulate PDFs also very useful -- e.g., to rearrange, combine, scans, etc. esp when docs have to be scanned in parts.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Intel BOXDP965LTCK LGA 775 Intel P965 Express ATX Intel Motherboard
Pros: Solid, predictable performance
Easy and quick setup
Enough expansion slots
Professional s/w apps from Intel
Cons: No RAID
one PCI-E 16 slot
docs consist of fold-out poster with no words
Other Thoughts: This is my third Intel board and it's much the same -- solid performance, easy setup, and not the most advanced features. I like the board so far.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: BYTECC BT-200 USB2.0 to IDE Cable With Power Adapter
Pros: Nice idea
Cons: On arrival, adapter would not work with either of my two seagate drives (old ST38421A or brand new ST3120026A) on either my desktop or laptop machines running Windows XP and USB 2.0.READ FULL REVIEW
