Pros: Works as advertised.
Non raid mode works great. Everything connects and is registered by the motherboard.
I have not tried raid modes(probably never will) so I cannot comment on raid functions.
Other Thoughts: I have a zip drive(IED), removable HDD cage(IDE), and a CD drive(SATA) connected to it. I just used the drivers on the CD because of my basic non raid setup and they work just fine.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Good performance, especially for a 5200 rpm drive.
Quiet under heavy load.
Other Thoughts: I have 2 of these attached to an LSI 9260-8i raid controller as a mirrored set. These are in my main computer so I needed a quiet, yet fast, and raid friendly drive and these WD red drives have not disappointed me in any of those aspects.
When it comes to mechanical HDDs, Western Digital is at the top of my list.
This review is from: NETIS WF2420 Wireless N300 Mini Size AP Router/Repeater
Pros: Features! This thing has plenty of them for no more than what you pay. Also like the fact that is incredibly tiny and easy to hide. I have personally used it as an access point, repeater, and client bridge. All of which work great. Good wireless range for the size.
Cons: Noisy power supply!! Seriously not sure what is up with that. Almost thought about returning it because i couldnt stand the high pitched wine coming from the power supply. Bcause it is so cheap i guess ill just keep it around as a spair for now.
Other Thoughts: Outside of the power supply issue i had this is a great router for the price. Cant be beat.
Maybe i just got that bad apple out of the bunch with the power supply mine shipped with. Still anoying and sill minus 1 egg for it : (
It ships with an outdated firmware so the first thing you need to do is downlowd the newest firmware from their website, then set it up however you like.
