As Advertised, Good CPU
Pros: Went in and has been operating for several weeks now with zero issues.
Cons: I didn't uncover/experience any so far.
Overall Review: Not a huge upgrade from a 2500K cpu but noticeable and a lower power level which should save me electric $ over time.
A step backwards from Version 1 of this switch
Pros: This is version 2 of similar switch from NetGear(previous version was all blue) and has quite a few features for the $.
Cons: The problem I encountered is no matter how RSTP and storm-control are configured, if you power cycle the switch while a loop is encounterd, it does not control the loop(read storm that makes your network or upstream switch unusable). The previous version of this switch, once you enable RSTP and storm-control did manage to control the ensuing storm from a looped cable and the power cycle of the switch. I left a message on the NetGear support site but have yet to hear back. Other manufacturers have similiar switches that out of the box, with no configuration, handle this simple looped cable and power cycle of said switch. It's quite wierd of NetGear to go backwards on a capability. We had been using the Version 1 in several hundred spots. Now we use a different brand when we buy a new one (probably a 100 of those new, other brands).
Overall Review: I did not purchase this switch from NewEgg, wish my company did! Just be aware of this issue and NetGear may fix via a firmware upgrade sometime. I just don't have time to wait on them. There's work to be done! Cheers
Great monochrome laser printer/scanner
Pros: First how did NewEgg sell me this printer for $74.63 but they did in August 2014! Now it is $199.00, so overpriced. But it prints great, scans great too.
Cons: Not wireless.
Overall Review: If the price comes down I would recommend it.
Great Mech Keyboard
Pros: I've used it for over a year now and am very pleased. Even Spilled water on it accidently, turned it over to dump the water, dried it out with paper towels and its running just fine. That water test is not recommended by the way.
Cons: I've had it not be recognized a few times when the PC boots up. Can't blame the keyboard, either I reboot or unplug and re plug in the keyboard to get it recognized on the USB ports
Fine DDR4
Pros: Went in, adjust bios and off it goes
Cons: none noted
Overall Review: good price Newegg, thanks!
Good Value
Pros: Went together in my new PC quite well, no issues
Cons: Not really an overclocking motherboard but I was not planning on doing so.
Overall Review: Good value for the cost vs features
Great Mouse, slow delivery
I love this mouse, at least the third one I have owned. I knew delivery was going to be slow but that doesn't mean I have to like it. The pricing was great so I waited, tick, tock, tick, tock, tick, tock,
Price was very competitive
The only complaint I have is the teflon pads were not stuck down completely when I unboxed the mouse. I stuck them down and we'll see if that last. Product as ordered seems legit, product number and serial let me register product for warranty with RAZER.
