4 out of 5 eggs Hey, at least it's not Win 8 01/10/2014

This review is from: Microsoft Windows 7 Professional SP1 64-bit

Pros: No Metro Tiles, installed easily and the interface isn't to different from XP

Cons: No ability to change shells, I really don't know why Microsoft doesn't have the ability to change shells like Linux. I spend years learning an interface and then I have to start over again. Thankfully it is not to different but a swappable shell would be nice. so I remove 1 star.

CM Storm QuickFire XT - Limited Edition Full Size Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with CHERRY MX Green Switches

Pros: I have been looking to replace my three Model M keyboards for a while, one of them I have been typing on for almost 20 years, but nothing had the same feel and click. Good mechanical keyboards are finally becoming easier to find and I really like the MX Cherry Green Switches that are in this keyboard. They have a very heavy resistance, Positive feel and a VERY satisfying 'CLICK' when you type

Cons: While this keyboard is mechanical the switches are different that what is in a Model M. The Model M uses Buckling Spring switches and the CM uses what feels like Scissor switches. The feel is different but not bad. I think that if I was going to be typing letters or a book I would get one strength less but for Programming, Emails and Gaming, this keyboard is great
