Pros: This is a nice sized hard drive dock that performs well on USB 3.0!
Cons: Purchased in August of 2013 it worked very nicely until February of 2014.
It seems to run okay in USB 2.0 - But I have 3ea USB 2.0 so why would I keep it for USB 2.0???
The whole point of this HD dock is the USB 3.0.
Symptoms of failure - the drive would occasionally just *drop* in the middle of a job. Then the frequency really picked up! I went to the ORICO site, got into support, found a firmware upgrade, and now it does not stay connected via USB 3.0 for more than 2 minutes time.
I have not bothered to perform additional testing of the 2.0 USB reliability.
It's got to be sent in for warranty service. :-(
This review is from: Far Cry 3 PC Game
Pros: Great Graphics, looked to be a Real Winner!
Cons: Bought 2 copies, mine and the wife's...
Oh Hecky Durn - My Wife gets into the 'Skill Building' phase of the game... and can't exit this process without wiping out a fair amount of previous efforts... <ALT>+<F4> was the only way to exit the screen!
Seriously? Ubisoft? It's a pretty obvious *bug* ... Not what I was expecting after Far Cry and Far Cry 2.
UPlay interface isn't that helpful either.
Rather disappointed in this game.
Other Thoughts: Off to the Ubisoft home page to see what's up with this really odd behavior.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: SIIG Model JU-SC0011-S1 11.81" 2-Port USB to RS-232 Serial Adapter Cable
Pros: USB to Serial is typically a gamble. I have a pile of 'converters' that just never worked for one reason or another.
SIIG has been one of the more reliable product lines that HAVE worked.
With the correct Win8 drivers, this hooked up easily and has performed flawlessly ever since.
Cons: Product was clearly ready for Win8. Yet the drivers on the CD were for Win7 which did not work.
SIIG had the correct drivers on their website, and once the correct drivers were installed it has worked well.
