Grate product

Pros: - Simple and easy to use. - Small footprint. - Multiple connection options.
Cons: - Needs to be attached to a PC to duplicate drives. - Not able to duplicate external HDDs without removing from their cases.
Overall Review: My wife is a photographer and I just replace a dyeing 500 GB platter drive with a 512 GB SSD in her Mid 2010 Mac Book Pro. Normally this would not be a big deal but she had a lot of license keys that she no longer has access to and the manufacture (Adobe Photoshop and others) will not give her replacement ones. Duplication took about 3 or 4 hours and after placing the new drive in, it booted up like it was the same drive (only faster), license keys and all. I paid $109 and with only one use it has already paid for its self. Bottom line I highly recommend this duplicator.
Good for backups

Pros: It works.
Cons: Shipping speed was fine but the packaging could have been better. The card was enclosed in the standard plastic micro SD card case and was shipped in a flat cardboard envelope. It was apparent that the envelope had went through some kind of roller due to the condition of the package.
Great for home use.

Pros: - 4 gigabit ports - 2 expandable PCIE slots - Duel 6 core processors - 48 Gbs RAM - Quiet - Low heat output - 39 lbs w/out drives
Cons: - None
Overall Review: This is not the most powerful server in the world but its more than enough for home use.
Decent gamming laptop.

Pros: -Awesome design -Easy to grip due to rubber coating -Super quiet -4 USB 3.0 ports -Back-lit keyboard(one of the main reason I bought it) -17in screen -Resolution -Low heat -Its an Asus -Surprisingly long battery(despite the con listed below) -Nice compact battery. Can pack extras if I need to without it taking up to much space. -Full length keyboard. I missed the number pad on my other laptop. -Boots up under 10sec. 6sec without the BIOS and encryption password enabled. -Good size SSD drive
Cons: Sometimes lags while playing Thief. Have not tried any other games yet. -5400 rpm HDD(you would think that paying $1800 would get you a faster hard drive) -For some reason Asus decided to not only partition the 2nd 1TB HDD into 2 500GB(460 and some change after formatting) but also partitioned the primary 256 SSD. Not a big deal just had to delete the partitions and extend the two main volumes with a little set aside for backups. -Batter does not fully charge. For some reason it dose not charge over 86%. This is not much of an issue because it lasts around 4-6 hours depending on what Im doing.(gaming vs checking emails and surfing the web) -Windows 8. I much rather stick to Windows 7 but decided to stick it out with Win 8. Who knows it might grow on me. -No driver/Windows 8 disk. So if something were to happen (like a drive failure) and you dont have a backup(shame on you) you would have to load Win 7. -Its not as speedy as would have thought. Maybe this is due to me having the OS on the SSD and everything else on the HDD. Will have to test this out when I replace the HDD with a SSD or at least 7200 rpm drive. -The CD drive arm feels really cheap when open.
Overall Review: I am an Asus fanboy and wanted a gaming laptop so I went strait for the G750 series. I weighed the pros and cons for the JX and the JH and decided that an additional $500 for 8GB of ram, 1GB of video ram and two raided 128GB SSD was not worth it. I rated this 3 stars do to the lag of the game play. Some might think that this is a harsh rating but this should not be an issue for a gaming machine that I spent $1800 on. Overall I am vary happy with this machine, I would buy it again and would defiantly recommend to a friend despite the cons.
Amazing customer service!
I ordered this server a while back for a home project. When it arrived on my porch (in the rain) the box was badly damaged and nearly open with only a few threads holding it together. After a thoroughly examination there was no noticeable damage. After initial boot up everything appeared to be in order and I powered it down. After receiving my drives I installed them and powered on the server. It would not get past the Dell splash screen. I tried contacting TechMikeNY through Newegg 2x without any response I was frustrated and feared I was going to have issues with the return. I finally decided to try giving them a call expecting to get a machine if I got an answer at all. The phone rang a few times and to my surprise a technician named Noah answered. I told him what was going on and he gave me some trouble shooting tips to try. After trouble shooting had failed I informed Noah and he got the RMA process started. After ding some research I decided that I wanted to up grade the PERC 6i raid controller to an H700 and asked if they could install it and charge me the cost of the part. He promptly responded stating that due to the issues that I had encountered they upgrade the controller for free. Wow talk about customer service. After receiving the server I installed the drives, add an SD card reader, installed the OS on the SD card all without a hitch and it has been running strong since. Bottom Line I would highly recommend these guys.
