Thumbs Up
Pros: Does indeed play all games (Some on lower settings, but for $70?) Dirt 3 runs flawlessly at 1920 by 1080 on a 24 In. Acer. Older games, say mid 2010 and later, run at maxed out settings....So, Thumbs up for that. Idle Temps run about 38 C, and full load, never over 55 C. So cooling not an issue...Well not in an Antec 900 two V3, anyway.
Cons: Well, First off....This was my 1st video card purchase, as well as my 1st build, and I could'nt wait to get this installed with my ASRock 880ghx and Phenom ii X4 955 B.E. When the package arrived and I had it installed, It worked beautifully....FOR 10 MINUTES!!!! BSOD after 2 minutes of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit. Awww:/ Thank You Newegg for the prompt RMA...this one works just fine.
Overall Review: Aside from the 1st one being D.O.A., I have nothing bad to say about this card, I love it and for $70, you won't find a better card. It can handle any new game out there, at reasonable settings, given you got the hardware to back it up. If you are on a budget, this is your card....Unless you are one of those Framerate Junkies....
Coaster City!!!
Pros: cheap as hell Shipped so fast, it made my head spin I have lots of places to put my drinks
Cons: Every disc I burned resulted in failure. No matter the program I used to burn, it would always hang on the finalization process for 1-2 minutes, then finally eject the disc. After 15 fails in a row using 3 different dvd/rw drives on 2 different computers....I simply gave up
Overall Review: People should throw away their dvd players and just get htpc's....so much simpler
My V-8
Pros: Well, it keeps my phenom ii x4 955 @ about 43c under full load and idle around 30c something... not bad, considering the stock cooler did'nt allow me to OC to 3.6ghz like this.
Cons: Eh, big... like way big. I just bought an Antec 900 two v3 and it just barely fits, well not really. Kinda killed my option for a 120mm side fan, though. But i guess with temps like that who needs another fan?
Overall Review: wish the LED's were blue as per my theme, but eh, i'm not going to take this thing apart, it works now... might not then.
AHH Sweet!!
Pros: WOW, this thing is huge! Def. a pro. Um, can watch movies in full HD, that's great. Games too. This monitor really gives my radeon HD 5670 a run for it's money.
Cons: They don't sell 3 in a bundle included with an eyefinity-capable video card, that's the only con i can think of, really.
Overall Review: I've put over $1000 into pc parts this year. THIS IS THE BEST PURCHASE I"VE MADE SO FAR... If you are reading this, just buy it dude, look no further.
Know your specs
If I would have known the quality and volume of the sound these products were sub-par, I would not have been so excited to waste $15 on a Bluetooth speaker I can't even hear outside
