Hitachi Ultrastar 7K3000 HUA723020ALA641 2TB 7200RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5

Pros: Bought the drive on May/12/2015 and it is still working great. It is pretty fast for a hard drive, had no issues with it, found no bad blocks.

The drive is noisy with the clicking, but I do not see this as an issue, it is an enterprise drive made to perform not be silent.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: If you are not all sensitive and can put up with a bit of clicking then I highly recommend this drive. For the money I have been impressed. Oh, the clicking is not near as bad as old school computer hard drives were LOL

Crucial BX100 500GB SATA 2.5 inch Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) CT500BX100SSD1

Pros: Easy to setup, it's an SSD so easy.
Fast, 10 seconds from power button to desktop

Cons: 500GB, in base 10 maybe. It is something like 480GB and formats out to 465GB

Other Thoughts: I have had this SSD for a bit over 15 months and have NO complaints other that the not being a real 500GB.

Fractal Design Arc XL (FD-CA-ARC-XL-BL-W) Black Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Follow up, still love it.
Solid construction.
Lots of room
movable/removable 3.5" drive bays

Cons: I still think the should have put the PSU all the way down and shifted the rest down to match for more room at top for radiator.

Other Thoughts: I was told that I could only put a thin radiator if I went with a 360, well I have a 56mm 360 rad in mine, I put the fans on the outside. It looks like I could still get some 15mm thick fans on bottom of rad but I am happy the the ones on the outside in pull. I use an XSPS D5 dual bay res, all said it has been great.

You can do pretty much what you want with this case, I love this case, I see nothing out there like it for the price.
