GIGABYTE GV-N660OC-3GD G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 660 3GB 192-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 2X Video Card

Pros: can max most games and the rest play on high @60fps 3gb gddr5 windforce- i have still yet to get this card above 60° gtx 660 is a very popular card so don't expect it to go out of date any time soon. overall an extremely good card for the price bm's -battlefield 4 1080p (high settings) 63fps averqage -next car game 1080p (max settings) 71fps average -Beamng drive 1080p (max settings 65 fps average -skyrim 1080p (max settings) 65 fps average -dirt 3 1080p (max settings) 69 fps average

Cons: big card can be a tad bit noisy under load requires 2 6 pin connectors with a 500w psu

Overall Review: upgraded from a gtx 650ti and boy that was a good decision

Most Critical Review

really good cpu

Intel Core i7-4790 - Core i7 4th Gen Haswell Quad-Core 3.6 GHz LGA 1150 84W Intel HD Graphics 4600 Desktop Processor - BX80646I74790
Intel Core i7-4790 - Core i7 4th Gen Haswell Quad-Core 3.6 GHz LGA 1150 84W Intel HD Graphics 4600 Desktop Processor - BX80646I74790

Pros: eats up everything i throw at it. beamng drive runs flawlessly. and i have yet to have problems with any other game. (currently paired with a 970)

Cons: it runs really hot. 90 degrees at load and 48 degrees at idle. it is paired with a corsair h50 liquid cooling system that is working properly. i was told that is hot but i don't really know. the stock cooler is even worse. there is no overclock.

Overall Review: the stock cooler is pretty cheap but works fine. i would really like to see ddr4 support in the future for 1150 sockets

Did Not Work

AZiO BTD-V401 USB Micro Bluetooth Adapter (V4.0 EDR + aptX)
AZiO BTD-V401 USB Micro Bluetooth Adapter (V4.0 EDR + aptX)

Pros: the drivers were easy to use once i figured out how to use them (which took me a solid 4 hours).

Cons: does not work at all.

Overall Review: recently i have bought a dual shock 4 expecting to play some games on my pc. as i didn't wan't to play on a cable, as no cable was long enough i would have to buy a blue-tooth adapter (this one right here). after installing the drivers, and after figuring out how to work the system, i would connect my ds4 to the adapter via bluetooth. the problem? ...it won't connect. it initially detects the controller as expected but it says "pairing started" and stays there for about 3 - 4 minutes. then goes to the "could not pair" screen. yes it is set to discovery mode yes the controller is on and yes i have re-installed the drivers and got the same result. as a customer to this product, i am very disappointed that i can now no longer game using a controller on a rig that i spent $3000 on. so for that, one egg.

amazing cpu

AMD FX-8320 - FX-8000 Series Vishera 8-Core 3.5 GHz (4.0 GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 125W Desktop Processor - FD8320FRHKBOX
AMD FX-8320 - FX-8000 Series Vishera 8-Core 3.5 GHz (4.0 GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 125W Desktop Processor - FD8320FRHKBOX

Pros: amazing processor for the price. -beamng drive runs max setting 60fps -battlefield max settings 55fps -next car game max settings 60fps and the list goes on this cpu handles anything i throw at it with very good tempuratures under full load (stress testing)i never got past 54°C with the stock cooling system

Cons: a lot of people were complaining about the stock fan noise. considering i have an ante 900d case (which is loud already) i hear nothing.

Overall Review: >>upgraded from an fx4130 quad core >>comparable to most i7's out there

AMD FX-4130 - FX-Series Zambezi Quad-Core 3.8 GHz Socket AM3+ Desktop Processor - FD4130FRGUBOX
AMD FX-4130 - FX-Series Zambezi Quad-Core 3.8 GHz Socket AM3+ Desktop Processor - FD4130FRGUBOX

Pros: not the fastest cpu in the world but it gets the job done, and done good

Cons: none so far
