EDIMAX EW-7811Un N150 USB 2.0 Wireless nano Adapter
  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

5 out of 5 eggs A very nice device 12/26/2013

This review is from: EDIMAX EW-7811Un N150 USB 2.0 Wireless nano Adapter

Pros: Small, good range, and can go in to monitoring or promiscuous network monitor mode.

Cons: None really, I would have said small equals lack of range but that is not the case, and it can take a USB range extender

Other Thoughts: I've had mine for about a year and have never had an issue with it, it does what I need it to do. I've just purchased two others for friends, a good buy and a good product.

GIGABYTE GA-970A-D3 AM3+ AMD 970 + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Nice board, easy to install, sounded great the built in audio rules! It was stable, never crashed on win7 and I put very demanding applications on the system. Network card was fast worked great.

Cons: The board was bad, and was only revealed when I got a second two sticks of memory, it would not recognize any ram above 16GB, put in two different purchases of ram from newegg and it wouldn't see it. Worked with Gigabyte and had to RMA it.

Other Thoughts: With the exception of the bad memory controller issue I'd still have it, I was quite happy with it.
