ASUS PCE-N53 Dual-Band Wireless-N600 Adapter IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n PCI Express Up to 300Mbps downlink+300Mbps uplink Wireless Data Rates
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: none.

Cons: Neither bracket (full size or low profile) fit in any of my systems. After cutting my own custom bracket to hold it in place, the antennae were unable to maintain position, and one antennae just fell apart.

4 out of 5 eggs Practical 11/23/2012

This review is from: TCELL- Black & White USB 3.0 Flash Drive 32GB

Pros: Functional, affordable, reasonably sized

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: many other 32GB USB flash drives are large enough to block nearby USB ports, this does not have that problem.

CORSAIR CX series CX430 430W 80 PLUS BRONZE Active PFC ATX12V & EPS12V Power Supply
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Looks good, worked okay for 6 months.
Quiet. Efficient.
120mm fan.
Did not generate much heat, cool enough for use in small case.
"CORSAIR" labels on power supply easily removed.
might purchase again.

Cons: Purchased mid-November 2011
Died early June 2012.
Cable management tricky in small cases.
"CORSAIR" labels on power supply had to be removed to fit into LIAN LI PC-Q07 case.

Other Thoughts: lightly used in LIAN LI PC-Q07 case.
Due to size of case and quiet performance, I was about to relocate the system for use as HTPC. Added CableCARD tuner to the system on Saturday morning, tested on Saturday and Sunday (rebooted several times, but stayed on most of weekend.) Shut down Sunday night without issue. No response from power button Monday morning. Attempts Tuesday also failed. Wednesday tried swapping power supply with another computer, and determined the Corsair power supply was dead.
System never reported temperatures over 55, unlikely that heat was a factor, even in confined space of the small case.
