Pros: Keeps my system cool while staying quiet. Good fans for the price.
Cons: Rgb doesn't work that well. Plugged the rgb hub into mother board and it isn't recognized. And even with the remote no matter what color you set it you it spams all colors very quickly.
Overall Review: Nice fans just wish i was able to get the rgb to work. would make my system look a lot nicer.
Pros: - Fan construction is decent
- Fan appearance is decent
- The fans spin
Cons: - The ARGB plugs won't fit into any other (3rd party) ARGB controller due to the gigantic housing around each plug
- The ARGB cables have dual ended plugs (multiple terminations) to allow daisy chaining them, possibly explaining why the connector housings are gigantic, but since the included ARGB controller has 4 available ports, you'll never need those extra connectors, and instead they just add to the cable management nightmare
- The fans have old school giant MOLEX connectors, adding even more to the cable management nightmare
- There's no PWM on the fans at all. Max speed all the time in all fans means they pur like a leaf blower
- The included controller doesn't have fan ports at all. It's just an ARGB controller, not a fan controller
- The included controller is powered by MOLEX not SATA power
- The RGB light ring is only on the "intake" side of the fans, so expect uneven lighting if you use some for intake and others for exhaust
Overall Review: I got this to use with a 3rd party ARGB and fan controller/hub that can handle ARGB passthrough from the motherboard and PWM passthrough as well, but these fans don't even have PWM, and their gigantic ARGB connectors don't fit in the (standardized/normal) ports of the 3rd party controller.
I had to use scissors to cut the MOLEX connectors and extra ARGB terminations off every fan's cables. Then had to use a hack saw to cut the ARB connectors down to a reasonable size. Then I threw away the included controller and remote that isn't a fan controller, instead using the 3rd party controller that has both sets of ports on it. Finally I put my computer under a pile of blankets and pillows so I can hear myself think long enough to leave this review.
Pros: fan spins
Cons: rgb doesnt work
Overall Review: u get what u pay for
Pros: -Look amazing
-Got them to make them white, the white is VERY white and looks perfect in my setup, RGB looks nice too.
-Work great once set up
Cons: -Lots of wires (That's any brand though)
-Takes a lot of time and patience to set up, but the end result is worth it. Comes with 3pin RGB wires not 4 pin so be aware of what motherboard you have, I had to just daisy chain them to the box and I have to use the included remote to change the colors as I couldn't connect them to my RGB header.
-Customer support is really only helpful when you contact them through Newegg (email) calling them you always get people that can barely speak English. But the customer support through email was perfect.
Overall Review: Had 2 of them burn out (Just the LEDs) contacted customer support and they sent me two new ones 100% free, the post office kept screwing up so it took awhile for the replacements to get here, not Raidmax's fault though.
Would definitely recommend if you want to save a lot of money, but if you have it I'd go for the more expensive Corsair ones.
Pros: Beautiful, soft lighting
Great air flow
Cons: Lights went out around the six month period.
Overall Review: Sad day but I blame myself for not investing in a little more.
Cons: light ring doesnt work from corrosion on led strip, fan fails at rated speeds due to rust in the motor.
Overall Review: Don't buy from this person unless you want flood items.
Pros: These fans are awesome! They provide awesome airflow and they look sweet!
Cons: None that come to mind!
Overall Review: I would recommend these to anyone looking for a super easy installation and a sweet look without compromising efficiency!
Pros: First off, the fans look and work great. Colors are bright, and the fans are very quiet with no issues working with my Asrock board and Plychrome. However, against better judgement, I tried the hub. The hub never got warm, or "melty", but it did make some colors flicker and get off sync with the other fans. I then noticed that you can daisy chain the RGB cables. This allows you to remove the hub entirely, and also makes wire management easier. Fans are great now, no sync issues, and no flicker.
Cons: The only con seems to be the hub, so just don't use it.
Overall Review: For the price these fans are great!
