No more lobster lap! Rain’s iLap base not only keeps your 17" widescreen MacBook from heating up and burning your lap, but it helps it run more efficiently and last longer, as well. The iLap's aluminum construction lets it act as a heat sink, and surrounds your computer with "breathing room," quickly dissipating heat into the air. The front edge features a detachable velvet-covered wrist cushion, so you can type in comfort, and the rear swivel foot is also cushioned in velvet, so it conforms to your lap, providing stability and traction.
