Comments: I used this ram in an Asus P4S800D-X. worked very well. it would help others when you explain what mobo's you put it in. Chip density can make a lot of difference to some mobo's. so i am tickled at this price. although many of the benchmarks that i have run say that you can get a little more performance from using buffered memory in large quantities. this works fine for an internet browser/ server/ video editor machine.

Good Budget RAM12/8/2005 9:40:23 AM
Pros: Cheap. This is about the cheapest RAM you can find and still be stable as long as it's been. That's about the only real standout, as it is budget ram so it's not a huge performer. It does stay quite cool though. I've got a case temp of 26c with only one circulating fan. And that's with a hot video card too.
Cons: None. For the price it can't be beat. If you're looking for super performance or overclocking, look to spend more.
Overall Review: One of the best deals on RAM for the money.
Pros: Cheap, Will work with the Gigabyte GA-8IPE775-G (which is an older MB.)
Cons: WILL NOT WORK with the Gigabyte Motherboard GA-8I915ME-GL 915L 775 which is currently sold at Newegg. Item #N82E16813128304 The MB just makes a clicking sound and does not POST. However the PQI MD4412UOE did work with this Motherboard
Overall Review: It would be nice if there was a way to determine compatibility when the order for memory and MB are placed together.
