Rosewill FORTRESS-550 - 550-Watt Active PFC Power Supply - Continuous @ 122 Deg. F (50C), 80 PLUS Platinum, ATX 12V v2.31 & EPS12V v2.92, Intel Haswell, SLI & CrossFire Ready

Pros: I've been running this in a Core I5, GTX 660 Ti system for over a year and this power supply has impressed me. First of all, great energy efficiency! My system doesn't even reach 300W on full load. 80W average on idle. Of course your mileage will vary. Quiet operation; I don't even know what this PSU sounds like, all I hear are my case fans, CPU cooler, and GPU. I bought two at the same time, one for my system, and another for my little brother who games all day, literally. I built him a low-power ITX gaming PC and this PSU has more than enough power for it. This PSU helped cut down our electricity costs. Also, it looks cool through my case window.

Cons: Doesn't come in white.

Overall Review: It's not modular, but I use just about every connector so that's okay with me.

Pros: 80+ Platinum, plenty of connections. Long warranty. Been using for about 11 months now in a custom build with no problems.

Overall Review: Using it to run a quad core Ivybridge, 4 HDDs, 2 SSDs, 1 GTX 650 Ti, 1 DVD drive, 2 x 8GB RAM, and a 16 in 1 bluetooth card reader with no power problems.

Pros: 80 Plus Plat, 7 Year Warranty, Non-modular, price.

Overall Review: I haven't had this PSU but for a week now, and am using it for a server build I am doing. Packaging seems great, and I used a PSU tester to test all connections, and all was good. I prefer non-modular in a non-viewable case/chassis, so that's a pro for me. I had a coupon off Rosewill PSUs, so I go this for around $80. Very happy so far, and will update later.

Pros: Does as advertised. I was a little weary of the Rosewill brand, but I'm now convinced this is a quality product after nearly a year without any issues.

Cons: None. I'm a satisfied customer.

Pros: -EXTREMELY Quiet..I used this psu to replace a cheap noisy chinese branded 800W Psu..what a night and day difference! -The casing on this psu is the best I have ever seen..the lizard skin-like texture really makes this psu come alive in my windowed case -Went from pulling 180 watts idle to around 95 watts idle (though I did switch over from a amd phenom 955 to a 4670k) -This psu has very very long cables, long enough to reach all parts of my Silverstone RV02-E case (which is the longest case ever really) -Built solidly. this thing feels like a tank compared to my old psu.

Cons: not modular, but i dont need modular cables
