Pros: Just built a new PC with Windows 10 Pro. Needed more USB ports, had to find a PCI-E card. My old card (PCI) was not transferable. Did some research and settled on the Rosewill RC-508, partly due to the hot swap capability. Upon receipt, read the instructions and installed accordingly. Installation was smooth, without a hitch. Product was now listed in Device Manage per manual. Plugged in my USB devices and everything worked as it should, the first time, Perfect! What in the world more could anyone ask for? A great product!

Cons: None! Happy as can be.

Overall Review: I would most certainly recommend this product because it was very easy to install and gives you additional ports for when you'd like to plug in some controllers and play all together with friends! In all honesty, my room mates don't play games with me as much as I would've liked... If you're the only person that has time to play games and such, just buy this for extra ports to plug in your keyboard dongles or something cause I'm starting to get more depressed knowing how lonely I truly am since I don't do anything with my life... On the side note, this helped me a lot.

Overall Review: To make this works with my Oculus Rift sensor I downloaded the renesas usb driver from the intel website instead of the rosewill one and it's now working 100% good without any issue

Pros: Plugged it in, turned on the computer and it was there. No need to install drivers (Windows 10) or anything.

Pros: High-speed ports, 4x external ports. Supplies plenty of USB power via 4-pin Molex power connector inside PC. Works as far back as Windows Vista. Great for adding new USB 3.0 ports to an aging system or to bypass dying USB 2.0 ports on a motherboard.

Cons: Doesn't have a power-fault for DC voltage flowing back through the card from a powered USB hub. The power flowed back into the motherboard after a shutdown and kept the system in a semi-locked state (fans still spinning). Without backwash power from outside, the card works flawlessly.

Overall Review: My solution was to unplug the AC adapter from my USB 3.0 Hub. This stopped the power backwash and allowed my PC to fully shut down. The PC has worked smoothly since. Ports are very fast, great for external HDDs, thumb drives, or network adapters.

Pros: - Easy to physically install - Additional 4 USB ports

Cons: - Instructions were lacking, even through the online support page. - Took two system reboots for system to recognize this card as well as existing USB ports - Driver install wizard uninstalled several applications that it deemed as "back-up" files, beware.

Overall Review: For the price this was a solid buy, the instructions and file removal from the driver install process are the reasons for the drop in rating.

Pros: Currently transferring files to an external USB 3 hard drive, at speeds between 65 MB/s and 105 MB/s using rsync. Easy upgrade to an old motherboard.

Cons: None

Pros: Needed more USB ports and this did the trick, I'm running windows 10 and it works no problems, you just have to install the drivers with the included CD.
