Pros: excellent picture. 8000:1 contrast ratio really makes a big difference. ability to adjust the swivel, pivot and tilt is very nice and handy specially if you have someone next to you to show your work or discuss something

Overall Review: I'm a programmera and I originally bought the monitor to have it as a vertical one next to my other widescreen to improve my coding experience but it didn't work out very well. The 1050 pixels height is too narrow to be comfortable. That's not a defect in the monitor though. If you want to have a vertical monitor to write code don't go for less than 1200 pixels.

Pros: I like the quality and the fact that it has the rotation for viewing the internet, and word processing programs such as Microsoft Word. It also has Magic Bright, which allows an individual to turn down the brightness for the internet, but turns is up for gaming or whatever else you like to do.

Cons: The power button you cannont see unless you have a light behind you to see the buttons since it is hidden in the piano black case. However I allow my computer to go into sleep mode, which turns the power down enough for my satisfaction so I never need to turn it off.

Overall Review: Samsung, I believe in their T.V.'s and they are proving to be a great computer screen makers as well.

Pros: No dead pixels. Bright, lively picture. Easy assembly and take-down. Monitor stand adjusts and swivals nicely.

Cons: Has soft touch button controls but you can't see them. USB ports are on the side of the neck of the mount and would serve better on the front. Initial set-up after power-up was a little awkward.

Overall Review: I mentioned a few cons but they were all very minor. It's a nice monitor and well worth the price.

Pros: good lookin monitor, no dead pixels, excellent picture quality.. extra USB ports make hook ups of digital devices convienent..

Cons: no speakers but that was a feature I did not need.. most monitor speakers are pretty lame.. I'm into good sound.. It will rotate longways but the cords make that adjustment a pain.

Overall Review: good base, easy set up.. plug and play.. mine came with a clip to organize power and dvi cords together on backside. Other reviewer noted cords just hang.. made he didn't figure out what the clip was for..

Pros: Excellent picture. Everything looks amazing. Best monitor I've owned or used regarding picture. Bright and Vivid.

Cons: The adjustment buttons are touch sensitive and thus are hard to find at night (especially next to the incredibly bright screen). After about 6 months the image began to shake on startup and for the 5 minutes afterwards. This problem got worse and now I have to wait 30 minutes after turning the computer on before using the monitor. Distortion and lines shoot across the image but after the monitor has "warmed up" it all goes away and is as good as new.

Overall Review: Getting another monitor, this time an ASUS 24inch.

Pros: Bright, crisp display. High (extreme!?) contrast and fairly sharp. Height adjustment and USB hub.

Cons: Slight bluish color-cast I can't seem to adjust away... yet.

Overall Review: Works fine w/ '09 Mac Pro default vid card. Using as 2nd display w/ DisplayPort-to-DVI cable. Looks contrasty compared to my primary 24" display, may retire that one for the larger version of this Samsung. Overall very happy, would give it a 4.5+ if that was a rating option. As usual a 5 for NewEgg pricing/shipping/speed!

Pros: NO DEAD PIXELS, VERY BRIGHT SCREEN. COLORS LOOK GREAT WITH SOLID BLACKS & THE SCREEN DOES NOT HAVE ANY BLEEDING EDGES. ADJUSTED COLORS USING THE NVIDIA PANEL & WAS VERY SATISFIED WITH THE RESULTS. I AM AN ACCOUNTANT & THE HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT & THE ABILITY TO EASILY SWIVEL THE MONITOR IS A GREAT FEATURE. TEXT IS CLEARER THAN MY FIVE STAR RATED SAMSUNG 930B THAT I REPLACED. I ALSO PLAY COD4 & THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO GHOSTING IN FAST MOVING TARGETS. THE 20 INCH SCREEN IS JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR AS IT DOES NOT OVERWHELM MY DESK. THE GLOSSY BLACK FINISH IS REALLY GOOD LOOKING TOO.

Cons: NONE WHATSOEVER!

Overall Review: I DID A LOT OF RESEARCH FOR 20" MONITORS & I'M COMPLETELY SATISFIED WITH MY CHOICE.

Pros: Nice monitor, but the HP lcd monitors I purchased at the same time were better as far as picture quality. No dead pixels.

Cons: Image shows some darkening near the top.
