Pros: Sound is awesome. The size of the soundbar and the bass is as expected, not very bulky. Fits nice, without taking too much space.
Cons: The bar configuration needed a bit of tune until I found the sweet spot. I had some issues with my TV to acknowledge Dolby Atmos, but after lots of trial and error, I found the best set up.
Overall Review: Before this Samsung soundbar, I had a JBL Cinema SB400 which was a decent soundbar, but it didn't process DTX or Dolby Atmos sound, so I had those problems where I had to raise the volume to listen to the dialogue, but then an action scene comes and I was blasted with all the action sound. Anyway, this Samsung HW-Q900A soundbar definitely improved that problem because it phisically has 7.1.2 speakers, so the sound comes out from the speaker it is supposed to in the first place. However I had some problems specifically with Dolby Atmos, neither my TV nor my Chromecast with Google TV acknowledged that the soundbar was Dolby Atmos capable. In the end, the solution for me was to plug the Chromecast directly to the soundbar input instead of the TV. It seems that the problem is the TV, it needs to have eARC to work the best (my TV only has ARC). So it was not the soundbar, it is my TV. In summary, the soundbar works as expected, the sound is amazing. Definitely worth the price !
