Pros: This is a really thin, really bright and really well-built piece of hardware. Out of the box, it works flawlessly with my R9 285 and I'll occasionally hook my PS4 and PS3 up to it when I don't want to bother the roommate with surround sound. Those also look great. The monitor's system menu is easy-to-use and navigate from a layout standpoint.
Cons: Strange choice of inputs. VGA and HDMI, but not DVI. I know that HDMI is essentially DVI carrying an audio and ethernet channel, but it strikes me as odd to not include this as an input. Also no Display Port. Finally, the buttons on the monitor are hybrid touch sensitive or optical, which makes them a little finicky to use.
Overall Review: While the optical/touch sensitive buttons on the monitor are finicky, it's nice to have a display without any moving parts. It feels kind of futuristic to just tap your finger under the bottom right corner of the monitor to turn it off.
Pros: Bought two of them. Nice picture, easy to use.
Cons: No VESA mounts on the back. Only HDMI and VGA inputs. (Really Samsung, VGA?). Had to buy a Display port to HDMI cable to hook one up to my computer. Touch sensitive buttons are annoyingly easy to press.
Overall Review: Would be a five egg product if it had VESA mounts and better inputs.
Pros: Price. Picture quality. controls. tilt. very light. piano black finish.
Cons: the blue on/off light flashes when my computer is off. Wish it would turn off when the computer is off and stay on when its on and thats it.
Overall Review: I would recommend for a normal user that has a decent video card.
Pros: High resolution. HDMI. Wider than other monitors. More screen for movies and games.
Cons: No turning or rotating. Only front tilt. No height adjustment.
Overall Review: For the price this is by far the best monitor with high quality. Don't expect any crazy bells and whistles.
Pros: Colour rendition Resolution Viewing Angle Footprint Price
Cons: Stand is a little weak
Overall Review: Replaced an old laptop with HP Stream mini + this monitor. Why, because the laptop never went anywhere (old and knackered but fine for occasional use). This setup is now the general household use first port of call and we all like the display. Sorry if this is a boring review but the monitor is great for the task it was bought for....I can't be alone in needing stuff like this rather than the latest flashiest most powerful system with flashing lights reminiscent of the ship in close encounters
Pros: overclocked to 75 hrtz- no prob. may be different for you completely.... not a pro- but not a con: Tilt is enough for most users, myself included. 2 ms response time is super fast for games. bezels aren't too noticeable when paired with another monitor. rock solid for over two years now. back is kinda glossy and scratches pretty easy, but you don't see the backside when is use do you now.... power cord is nice and long so no worries about reaching the outlet.
Cons: none
Pros: - Easy Setup - Beautiful picture - Light & easy to maneuver - Understandable controls - Great refresh rate - Deep Color - Games and movies are crisp with no video tearing
Cons: - Base should be a little heavier, sturdier. the monitor almost seems to heavy for it - 1 HDMI slot, no other video slots, make sure your video card supports HDMI
Overall Review: If you can get this monitor for 200 or less, it's a fantastic deal and would offer to just about anyone needing a high quality picture at a low price. If I had a second HDMI slot, I would purchase another.
Pros: stellar color and image quality low power consumption awesome price (149.99 shipped after newegg promo)
Cons: out of the box configuration isn't as great as it could be text was blurry and image lacked overall sharpness BUT!!! after about 10M of changing the image settings it was glorious here are the settings I used response time >fastest magic upscale > mode 2 magic angle > standing game mode > disabled coarseness 2201 fineness 96 *text is still a little blurry in places but barely notice-able and its windows fault anyway NOT samsungs the witcher 3 looks absolutely beuutifulll compared to my old HP panel
