Pros:
- Lightweight
- Easy to setup and start using
- Encryption very easy to setup
Overall Review: Very lightweight and small! Setup was real quick with no issues. Would definitely recommend using the password protection on the drive with it being so small, it would be extremely easy for someone to walk by and take it! Would definitely recommend this SSD!!!
Pros: Small, easy to use, works great!
Cons: Had to format before use, but that might be due to using with older OS. Supposed to come with its own software but I never use it anyway.
Overall Review: I had an old WinXP laptop that I needed to get some large files from, and this worked great, in spite of the old OS. I had to format it at first, but then it was fine. I think I'll buy another of these SSD drives for my music library!
Overall Review: I did get one somewhere else and works great with my Mac and Windows computer. Just be sure to use Ex Fat format type to use it with both Mac and Windows.
Pros:
I bought this portable SSD to extract the 500gb and use the case with an old SSD.
What a surprise ! It's tiny and there is no hard drive SSD.
But it is very usefull to manage data between many equipments.
No regrets.
Cons: None as far.
Overall Review: Great !
Pros:
As fast as advertised.
I bought multiple 2TB for the BMPCC 4K &6K so far so good.
using them as external storage and recording media is flawless on mac and windows machines in exFAT, people complaining about the drives not working or not being detected either got bad units or are not as computer savy as they think they are.
Cons:
1.I still think these are just too expensive by a few hundred dollars, but they are great. hopefully they come don in price and introduce a thunderbolt version, i'll continue to buy these for years if that's the case.
2. wish samsung included some lifetime performance drive info like how many writes are these rated for? if they included that kind of information i would recommend these for professional use to everyone.
3. If they made a lacie type professional version of this drive for a similar pricepoint id be buying those too
Overall Review: TLDR: good ssd external minimal problems basically plug and play. A little too expensive, would like a professionally rated version.
Pros: Compact, excellent speeds A neat and tidy product, easy setup.Really no issues or problems. Delivery as promised, on time.. Overall an excellent product.
Overall Review: Yes I would recommend this product.
Pros: Speed of transferring data.
Overall Review: Very impressed with the speed.

Pros: • Matchbook-size for 500 GB: wow
• Super speedy to begin with
• Easily password-enabled (without complex encryption procedures)
Cons: • Super-slow after a very fast start:
• I copied 15 very large files (ca, 4 GB each) to it from another flash drive, one at a time. The first 10 went amazingly fast; the last 5 went amazingly slow. Was I using it wrong? Too much too soon? Virus in a file?
Overall Review: I love the concept of an inexpensive tiny capacious (500 GB) portable SSD with a password (for my Windows 7 setup on a Lenovo X230), where I have several external backup-backup-backup-backups, both on a few 64-GB thumb drives, and four 2-TB very small external Seagate HD's. The Samsung outgunned them all for speed, as mentioned, for the first 10 files; then slowed to a trickle for the last 5. (I only have old-2.0 USB ports, which suffice, and worked OK for those first 10 ultra-fast transfers.) I'm using the Samsung satisfactorily now for daily routines, a few files at a time, and had hoped to get another one to duplicate its contents ultra-quick, even with my old USB ports. But I'm deducting an egg, and waiting, until I find out if the slowdown was my [computer's] fault, or some other problem with the SSD itself. (Not its USB cable, I presume, which was new from the package.)
