So good, this is the third one I've bought and they're all running
Cons: I'd complain about price, but considering all the benefits, it's great bang for the buck.
Overall Review: I'd recommend it in a heartbeat. I really have nothing negative to say about it. Samsung makes great products.

Solid SSD8/1/2021 8:35:45 AM
Pros: Overall its a great SSD - halfway okay write speeds which is fine for basic school and non-heavy programming stuff for when I need to bounce between computers.
Cons: My biggest Con here is that its not compatible with Debian/Linux if you use the password protection or encryption that comes packaged with it. At the time of writing this I have not had access to a Windows PC to disable the protections to verify if it works on Linux at all.
Overall Review: Good credit card sized SSD for windows users.
Pros: Small, light and has the needed capacity
Comes with a cable!
You don't have to download any software if you don't need/want the extra functionality of setting security.
Power from the connected hardware, no extra cable or adapter required
Cons: My laptop with Windows 8.1 wouldn't even recognize it when first connected. Just not there in Explorer. Connected to my tower with Windows 10 and it was recognized. Reformatted from exFAT (as shipped) to NTFS and then it was recognized by everything.
Overall Review: I use it as a a local network drive connected to an ASUS RT-AC66U router for my small business. Once you map the drive, it is accessible to share files between multiple users with Windows 7/8/10 as well as Mac OS - tested as I have users with all these varied and archaic hardware.

Amazing fast transfers4/28/2021 7:07:43 AM
Pros: Small form factor
Lightweight
Uber-fast transfer speeds
Overall Review: Works amazingly well on my MacBook pros.
Pros: -This SSD is very small & easy to bring with you / throw in a bag
- Extremely fast read & write speeds
- These days with manufactures skimping on everything its nice Samsung includes multiple cables with this SSD
Cons: - Nothing to report at this time, will need to see how speeds & reliability hold up in the long term
Overall Review: If your looking for a portable hard drive and don't mind paying a little more than other similar models, you won't be disappointed with this SSD.
Pros: -For the multimedia, it's ok. Despite of a crashing apps or a few seconds loading when you save something in it.
Cons: -For the gamers who wants just more space for their games, i strongly advise against buying it. Because after a certain moment (in-game or not), this SSD disconnects randomly and reconnect after few seconds. The last thing a gamer wants as a problem, it's that. And belive me, i stock all my Steam game on this SSD and my games crash randomly because of that problem. I retransfer all my games on my another SSD, which this problème doesn't never happrend.
Overall Review: -In fact: i got no intentions to rebuy it and for the people thinking about buying (especially for gamers), just don't buy it. That's all i'm saying.

Easy to setup and use. Works with MacOS1/7/2022 9:09:19 AM
Pros: Easy to install
Works with MacOS including older OS (Mojave on a 2014 mac mini)
Cons: None
Overall Review: I would buy this product again and probably will. It's a fair price at $150 Canadian for an external 1TB with a 1000mb/s transfer speeds.

Easy to use, fast12/10/2021 9:09:21 AM
Pros: Very fast to transfer files and work from. No issues so far! It's tiny too.
Cons: You should reformat it with Disk Utility if you use Apple, because it comes formatted for Windows. But it's very easy to erase disk and start fresh.
Overall Review: Seems like a good solid drive, and should be great to work with as the speed is improved and it's solid state, so no moving pieces.
Pros: Small, very compact FAST Reliable So good, this is the third one I've bought and they're all running
Cons: I'd complain about price, but considering all the benefits, it's great bang for the buck.
Overall Review: I'd recommend it in a heartbeat. I really have nothing negative to say about it. Samsung makes great products.
