Read speed is claimed to be "up to 420 MB/s" and write speed "up to 380 MB/s. I assume that "MB/s" means "MegaBits/sec" and "up to" means that is a burst speed (i.e. it may be attained for a few seconds at the beginning of a transfer, but will fall back to a lower number for a sustained transfer). Does anyone have specs for *sustained* read and write speeds? Thanks!

It is meant to mean MiB/s (MegaBytes per second). I just ran a CrystalDiskMark test on mine, which has been heavily used and only has about 50GB of free space, and I get sustained sequential read and write speeds of 323MB/s and 277MB/s respectively. Obviously you'll probably never hit what they claim (other than burst speeds as you said) but it's still pretty dang fast.

Will this work on a Xbox One S?

Don't see any reason why not. You will have to format it for the xbox once you plug it in.
