Overall Review: I purchased two of these flash drives in July of 2020, received them 31 July 2020. They worked perfectly at first. I use them with rsync to back up files on my desktop computer running Linux Mint 19.3 with the MATE desktop. Last week when I tried to mount one of them to update my backup, one of the flash drives would not mount. I tried it in several different USB ports (some direct to motherboard), including some on my husband's computer (same op system, newer hardware), but no luck. The second flash drive still works (so far).
I called Sandisk this morning to see if they had any ideas, but their response was that their flash drives were only for use on Windows or Mac systems.
So warning to Linux users -- don't buy Sandisk.

Works well8/14/2020 6:44:06 PM
Pros: I have two of these. They work well for transferring files or using as a bootable USB drive.
Cons: Gets quite warm, but it doesn't seem to affect performance.
Overall Review: SanDisk is worth the couple extra bucks. Very reliable. Quick data transfers. Use for OS installations, other ISO files, data transfer & storage.
The right flash drive for my purposes4/13/2020 11:17:29 AM
Pros: - fast when using with USB3.1 connection
- low cost
- the right flash drive for the one task I required: make a recovery key for a Win10/Lenovo laptop
Cons: - None that I noticed
Overall Review: It's very small, so my secondary task is to remember where I stored it in case recovery is ever needed.
Cons: Slightly slower , gets very hot , and then gets even slower
Overall Review: The speed is a little slower than the other manufacture's 32 and 64 GB drives , even at best. Worse , it gets so hot it limits the write transfer speed. The two tests in the picture were run one after another , with the first run right after it was plugged in. One can see where it starts limiting the write speed , and the second test shows that it continues to limit , even where it ran faster on the first run ( the only difference is that it's now HOT ).

Nice little flash drive3/31/2021 2:59:53 PM
Pros: Good storage size (512GB)Small physical size - fits easily on key ring without adding much bulkFast USB 3 speed
Cons: none
Overall Review: Good product - I would definitely purchase another if I need additional storage, but at 512GB it will be awhile before I need more.
Cons: Write speed is disappointing, but I'm seeing reviews for other flash drives that note write speed as being slow. I use it to create a copy of a file that's approx 60GB and it takes an hour or more to copy.
Overall Review: Has a sleek appearance. Its small size makes it easy to use in ports that are close together.
If you want to load large files, you'll need to format it to NTFS.
