Pros: Nothing good about it
Cons:
Very poor performance. Random read and write registered single digits in Crystal Disk Mark v6, so basically a hard spinning drive is faster. I was suspecting my newly installed RAM is the culprit of the slow windows boot (PC boots after 2 mins) but after several test, this SSD is the cause. Tested my rig in another brand SSD and windows is up in less than 20 seconds. tried to transfer files to test it in real time, a 10GB file dip as low as 10MB/s and average just 112 MB/s. What a disappointment.
Unfortunately I bought two and almost have the same performance. I owned several SSD brands and so far this is the worst.
Pros: Worked pretty well for 5 or so days. Boot times were average for a SATA III SSD, games loaded fairly quickly.
Cons: Lasted less than a week, now Windows will not even boot and error "BOOT DEVICE UNAVAILABLE" pops on the blue screen, even though the drive shows up in the BIOS. Have tried multiple times to repair OS to no avail.
Overall Review:
Normally I would just return it as defective after less than a week, but I can't because I threw away the retail packaging. I know better, but it happened. So I'm stuck with it. It's a shame, because I've been buying Sandisk USB flash drives forever and I've never had a bad one of those.
I normally only buy Samsung, ADATA, or WD SSDs, but I recently bought a Patriot Scorch NVMe for a game drive and it's good so far so I thought I'd branch out a little. I went out on a limb with this Sandisk because the price was right and I had previous good experience with the brand.
I learned my lesson hard, from now on I'll just stick to what I know, and always...
Keep.

Pros: I've used Sandisk products for years and they have been good products
Cons: This is the first Sandisk drive that was DOA and i would have just exchanged it for another but Newegg said they no longer stock this item
Pros: I have bought several SanDisk 480 to 512 Gig SSDs and have been very pleased with ALL of them. I also have a 960 Gig SSD in my own PC. My wife's PC has one of the 480s too. They have been very reliable and have a excellent price/performance ratio. These are far above the low end but comparably AData, Team 500 & Silicon Power SSD's that I have also tried but when on sale this brand is head & shoulders better. They are close to the Samsung EVO 512 & Crucial SSDs 480 that I also have in my PC. I have no hesitation in selling this brand to my computer customers.
Cons: None at this price.
Pros: Works out of the box as described
Cons: Transfer software information was unclear for my specific situation; could have been clearer
Overall Review: I promised to do a swap of my laptop HDD to SDD when the price dropped, which it finally did. The process was straightforward to clone my HDD to the SDD. The physical replacement went smoothly and the SDD worked as advertised. My expectations were blazing fast speed, but I only noticed my laptop became CPU-intensive instead of HDD-intensive (good). Boot time is about 35% faster and normal operations are a little quicker. Biggest finding was you don't defrag a SDD, so get rid of your defrag software before you partake. Also the SDD has a physical "life"...didn't know that one either. In any case, it appears to be a solid change for me and it has met my base expectations. Definite "B" if we had to give it a grade.
Pros: Working very well.
Cons: None
Pros: Plugs in and works. Last one was no problem.
Cons: no cons
Overall Review:
1) starts in Indianapolis, 2) mission is to deliver to Fort Wayne.
Steps? Goes the the middle of Ohio, then to the middle of Illinois, then to Fort Wayne, then back to Illinois, then to Pennsylvania, then to Michigan, and finally back to Fort Wayne. Good thing it wasn't supposed to be delivered in Indianapolis as it would still be on the road - maybe via Mars. Seriously, this was so unreasonable I should be sent another one free for the agony.
