Pros: I upgraded from a 4870 and I can tell you the cooling is vastly improved, expect C cooler compared to a first gen 4870. Very fast at factory speeds, I notice an average of 20-25 FPS increase from my old Meg 4870. Extremely overclockable, Expect speeds of 925 MHZ without the need to bump the fan from auto and speeds of 1000-1050 MHZ with proper tweaking on air cooling. If you own a 512 meg 4870 this card is totally worth the upgrade and will deliver a noticeable bump in performance, I can now game at X AA @ 1980x1200 in just about every game never falling below 60 FPS. When your not gaming expect some savings on the electric bill due to the much improved idle energy consumption.

Cons: Drivers! This currently isn't an issue as CCC 9.4 drivers have just been released. Be prepared for the possibility of having to reformat to get this card working properly, I followed the book on uninstalling my old drivers from my 4870 and running driver sweeper and I was still forced to reformat in order to get this card running perfectly. I spent 6 hours and phone calls to ATI with no solution so THIS review is your heads up on the possibility that you may have to resort to a fresh install for a perfectly working card. Please also understand I wasn't alone with this issue as a quick web search dug up others having the same strange CCC problems.

Overall Review: I was going to give this review a 3 or 4 star rating but decided not to simply because once all the install issues were ironed out the card impressed me big time. I have no idea why anyone buys the more expensive pre overclocked versions, there the SAME card! Once this card is overclocked to 930 MHZ or above, it's the fastest single GPU solution out there! enjoy =)

Pros: Easy to install, not too loud, plays games at high FPS at 1920x1200

Cons: Was a little confusing to attach all the power connectors two it, make sure you connect both sets of power connectors

Overall Review: after installing drivers that came with it on the CD I was able to get 1920x1200 (originally could only see 1600x1200, quickly fixed). No problems here, enjoying my awesome FPS at high res

Pros: Fast and easy to install. Driver's easy to use for monitoring and overclocking.

Cons: Cant use its 3Dmark vantage software on my 32-bit Windows XP OS. Not so sure about this but i dont know if this is too hot for a card... When I was on CrossFireX mode, 1st card idles @ 61c w/30% fan speed, auto. 2nd card idles @ 58c w/28% fan speed' auto. Both goes up to 65-68c w/35-38% fan speed, auto, if im playnig COH with an average fps of 40.00+.

Overall Review: Underclocked em and it runs fine. I am the Underclock Guy! I feel better and safer knowing that my computer isnt working hard. My system can handle hardcore games but i'd lower the game's vid quality rather than changing my system's settings to cope up with the game. @;~)>=D

Pros: Ok, had an RMA issue for a dead fan, new unit is in, working, and BLAZING! Wow, what a jump over my old (4 month) 4670. I play CnC3, CnC RA and this thing just absolutely dominates these games. Settings maxed out and even on the "busier" happenings in the game, there is zero lag. Used to be when I set off the special abilities on the enemy camp, the 4670 and the 3870 prior would show it's fps by slowing down, considerably. Not so with this thing, it motors right along happily. ATI O/D settings: 900 GPU and 1000 GDDR5, No problems using CCC 9.4

Cons: Umm, 2 things; 1 - It is a RMA which means I had to wait longer for this awesomeness! 2 - It is louder than my wife's hairdryer! Sounds like a puddle jumper at take off. I have manually set the fan at 75% when gaming and it is loud. I keep it at 40% otherwise. All set through ATI O/D which is easy to use.

Overall Review: This thing is awesome, no doubt about it. I can only imagine games are going to get even more resource happy to stress these cards. The new cards will be out soon also, I am happy right here until I see a game slow this thing down. Gotta love it people! ATI/Sapphire is a great product. Highly recommended. NewEgg RMA service was outstanding as usual, just a tad slow, of course, I was a tad anxious.

Pros: Very stable card, runs everything well.

Cons: Fan is kinda loud, but is not too bad.

Pros: Runs all games I throw at it, not a crysis killer, but getting some decent frame rates. Crysis on very high(no AA) 30-50 fps. It included the dvi to hdmi adapter, wish it was native but at least they included the adapter. Great card, this was my first build and a powerful beast for a decent price.

Cons: LOUD FAN(anything over 40% and this baby will be heard. It is settled in an antec 900 case and it mutes all my 5 fans on high. This really doesn't matter to me since it is keeping the card cool, and stable.

Overall Review: I would recommend buying this card, dont let the sound of the card be a deciciding factor. This card runs at 42C Idle so heat is not an issue.

Pros: This card overclocks well and also can be volt modded very easily. I can get 1000/1150 out of it. I turned it back down (Read Cons). Overall this card is a top performer in the crowd of video cards. I am going to get another one and crossfire them. I run every game maxed except ArmA 2 which is because the game is poorly optimized.

Cons: This card get so hot!! It has been up to 90 C. I have to turn the fan to 100% to keep the card in acceptable range. The fan when turn 100% sounds like a blow dryer and that is NOT in anyway exadurating.

Overall Review: With a good Zalman cooler this card is A+

Pros: This card laughs at apps....3DMark score has gone up considerably. For the price, there's no comparison on the market right now. CCC works beautiful. Easy set-up. You don't have to purchase a more expensive model because this one overclocks very well. Save your money...Maxed settings on all games that I have....

Cons: None..

Overall Review: I really don't know what all the fuss is about with the stock heatsink, but I assume most people that would purchase a card like this, are gamers, and as a gamer I would assume you have decent airflow. With CCC I don't even have the fan up to 30% and it keeps this card cool and quiet. When I'm gaming I have another profile setup to 35% and it is barely audible above the rest of the fans. If you want a super quiet PC than your only other alternative is a GOOD watercooling set-up. Even an aftermarket heatsink for this card is not going to be quiet.
