Overall Review: Coming off of an AGP system with a 3850, this was quite an astonishing difference in performance. I've been very pleased.

Pros: Just about everything is a pro for this card. It's fast, very quiet, and runs very, very cool. I haven't OCed it (haven't even come close to needing to), so my temps have stayed pretty low. It idles between 34 - 38C and the hottest I've seen it get is a toasty 48C-- obviously very cool for a card of this caliber. I am simply blown away by its performance. For the price, it can't be beat.

Cons: I had to RMA my mobo because of dead RAM slots so I'm going to be waiting a while until the next time I can admire this beast.

Overall Review: As others have said, it blows hot air out into the case of the PC. I'm assuming this won't be too much of a problem for those who choose to purchase it since they'll likely have well ventilated machines.

Pros: Fast, Cool, Quiet. What else can you ask for in a GPU?

Cons: Blows heat into the case. Kind of a non-issue for my HAF 922 with 5 fans, but may be an issue for some.

Overall Review: To the guy who is claiming the quality isn't as good as an asus, the only asus card out right now is the reference card, so you could find the same exact build quality in any brand of the 5870. Also, I find the build quality on this card to be superb. It blows heat into the case, yes, but its designed to do so. The center fan is solid and has no vibration and the card beats anything else available right now. (may be slower than the OC'd xfx card, but it runs cooler and is cheaper, therefore still the better option in my opinion.)

Pros: Very good card runs cool 20C idle 38-50C under load runs every game i have max settings 4xAA (MW2, SHIFT, Crysis, M2TW, Farcry 2, ect.) Very very quite seems like it isnt breaking a sweat and looks VERY nice

Overall Review: Dont listen to the people with dual screen problems ive run it on 2 and 3 screens no problems(ATI sad there were problems with earlier drivers so idk why they were surprised kinda ruined rating for the card im running 9.11 drivers) and i have no idea how i got a hold of this card i guess i got lucky so if you get a chance go for it this card it will last a while and i will probably get another for crossfire if i really need it but i highly doubt it but seriously buy this card if u can it is really worth it

Pros: Very fast, Very Quiet and runs Cool, DX11, plays everything I play at 1920x1200 with everything on high!

Cons: If your going to run a dual screen setup with extended desktop, you better wait for better drivers, I have same problem with my card has one of the other reviewers on this page, except its my right hand screen that flickers when ever you scroll or drag a window around, changed cables, and ports no LOVE....thinking about a RMA, but might just get the same thing with another card from what I've seen!

Pros: I'm amazed how quiet and cool this card is compared to the 4870 I replaced!! 29c at idle and barely over 50c running Farcry2 at max settings (I haven't had time to play any others).

Cons: Not much of a con,but, all of the documentation/drivers is from previous models. They haven't had time to catchup yet.

Overall Review: I can't wait to "stress" this card a bit to see what it can do!

Cons: Does not seem to support Dual Monitors correctly. When running a single monitor all is OK. When I activate Dual Monitors there is a intermittant flickering on the Primary Monitor 1 on the lower half of the screen. It is random (intermittant) and appears to be a sync issue while the top half of the screen is rock solid as is Monitor 2. I ran these two monitors from a 4870 and they were perfect (Dell 2408WFPs). Not sure if this is the card or driver issue. The issue does go away when I switch back to a single monitor. And yes the single monitor is the same monitor as in the Dual Monitors.

Overall Review: This is a new product and not everyone is running Dual Monitors at 1920x1200. Hope this is a driver issue.

Pros: Fast, powerful, shorter than reference cards, runs cool, two free games, everything everyone else has said.

Cons: Price premium; HDMI cable needs some finessing to get it in; possibly received an open box.

Overall Review: I waited for the Vapor-X board because I was afraid the reference cards would be too large for my case. Glad I did. I have a Gigabyte Triton 180 case and this card just does fit (maybe 1/2 inch clearance from the drive cage). However, the slot ends don't quite want to line up right, so I can't really screw the card in; I'm using the screwless clasps. Not perfect, but it's secure and hasn't presented any problems. I had one issue with HDCP but it was a config. setting with my monitor. I can play BDs fine with PDVD8 OEM. The fan is loud when manually set high (amusingly loud, actually). But I game with headphones, so I can't really comment on the level during games. At idle, it's barely audible but does occasionally throttle up and down ever so slightly. Re: open box. I think mine was a return. One of the outer stickers was peeled back, and the flap for the driver disk was folded. Oh well. Card works, and the game serial worked so I'm ok with it.
