Pros: Lots. This is an excellent low-profile card all around. The gig of ddr3 video ram is more than enough to run 1080p video on my 27" monitor, and any gaming that I do (League of Legends, Dragon Age, Minecraft, etc) it can handle on mid-high settings no problem. GTA IV is the one game that taxes it out far beyond its capabilities, but I was well aware of that going into this purchase and seeing the specs and reviews. I'm actually surprised at how well this card keeps up the fps @1080p, especially for such a low-profile card. It fit excellently in my budget HP, and looks tiny in my new Enermax mid-tower case. My computer has AMD Radeon 4200 integrated graphics, which quite frankly suck compared to a dedicated card. They were the lowest ranked on my WEI @ 4.0, and it struggled to play games on mid-low settings and could not handle 1080p video fullscreen at all. Once I put this card in, the WEI bumped up to 6.7, and the difference is night and day. I am incredibly satisfied with this card.
Cons: The fan is pretty small, so it makes more of a high-pitched whine than the nice purr of larger fans. I noticed it off and on while it was in my HP (mainly while it was under load), both with the side panel on and off. Not a huge problem, more of a slight irritant, but definitely something to note. The sound isn't noticeable at all in my new case, but if you're starting out like I did and are just upgrading a cheap/old/budget PC, you might find it mildly bothersome.
Overall Review: I started with a cheap refurbished HP desktop, threw this card in it, and then recently gutted it and put everything in a new case. Specs are as follows: ~Enermax Hoplite ST Mid Tower [white] ~~Stock Gigabyte motherboard from HP ~~AMD Athlon x3 445 Rana 3.1GHz tri-core processor ~~2x2GB stock RAM from HP ~~250 watt power supply (again, stock from HP) ~~120gb OWC Mercury SSD (boot drive) ~~2x1TB 5400rpm SATA drives (1 storage 1 backup, considering turning them into RAID) ~~500gb 7200rpm drive (Shared network drive) + room for 2 more hard drives
