Pros: I just wanted to make a comment on ppl complaining about the memory/core speed, you will not see the higher speed while you are on you desktop, download Riva aka Tuner form guru3D.com and use the monitoring utility. The 3D speeds kick in when... guess when, when your are in 3D games.. this card is excellent since you don't need to be wasting that speed to run desktop applications

Cons: None, except for the noobs on here complaining that the card is not running at the right speeds, there is a difference in 2D & 3D speeds ppl...

Overall Review: PPL shouldn't write reviews on something they don't fully understand and make the product look bad..

Pros: As far as bang-for-the-buck goes, the X1950XT takes the cake. I dare you to find a better card for the money. All in all, this card cost me $xxx with the $xx rebate thrown in. Seriously, try to find a better value. This card is also one heckuva performer, too. The 512 megs of RAM will really help out with newer games, especially if you want to use AA/AF.

Cons: Not a DX10 part, but then again, I personally don't believe DX10 is going to take off very quickly. It will eventually, but by that time there will be far better cards than the 2900XT or 8800GTX/GTS, so why waste money on first generation DX10 parts? Let the rich enthusiasts test the water with expensive purchases that depreciate in value faster than automobiles.

Overall Review: If you've got a large wallet, then by all means go for an 8800GTX or 2900XT (preferably the former), but if you don't, this is the card for you.

Pros: Very fast card, easy instalation, and it isn't 3 feet long like some others. Easily overclocked with ATItool, stable consistent graphics. Looks good. Great improvement over a x1350/1500pro 256mb!

Cons: None really, the fan get's a little loud under heavy load, but you know it's working good that way.

Overall Review: Good accurate fan control when using ATItool. Mine doesn't get above 71celsius under maximum load. Running it on a ASUS Commando mobo, E6600, 4gigs 5-5-5-15 Corsair XMS2.

Pros: This thing rocks. Plays all the current graphic intensive games at full quality settings with plenty fps to have a smooth experience. Ex; Dark messiah, BF2, Flight simX. the core and mem clock throttle back in low utilization, and bumps up to spec when demand requires it, thats confused some folks in previous reviews. Its actually a nice feature. I use riva tuner to bump this cards core/mem clocks to 700/1925MHz. Since im water cooled, the temps stay in the low 50s in heavy use.

Cons: im not a fan of the catalyst sw, its generally unstable, but you don't really need it anyway. Fan gets loud when playing games, that why i water cool this thing.

Overall Review: My rig is a quad core ext, @3.0GHz, 2GB DDR667, 10k raptor. CPU/GPU are water cooled. 3dmark06 score is a little over 7600. THis card is my first ATI product. I've been a loyal nvidia guy forever. But i wanted high performance and didn't want to spend more than 300 bucks.

Pros: One of the best video cards I've purchased yet for the price, awesome score at 3dmark 05 (~6970) marks on pentium d 2.66mhz dual core with 1gb dual channel ddr2 533mhz memory on an ECS P4M890T-M2 Motherboard. Brings all the cables you need for HDTV or VIVO! (Video In Video Out)

Cons: Loud, Big, Hot, and Heavy! (which in all honesty, to me are not cons, its what you get from a high end gaming video card).

Overall Review: Big Bang for the Buck for the Budget gamer!.. Brilliant!! it is loud, and along with my Vantec 92mm Tornado case fan running at 5000rpm the unit sounds like a jet plane about to take off! it is so big that I am lucky I had a big computer case, and I still had to relocate some of my hard drives and move cables around just to make it fit. It added more than 5 pounds to my system unit. It does produce a lot of heat, but nothing that my Vantec fan can't handle.

Pros: Great framerates on high requirement games. I ran Oblivion at 1600x1200 at full settings and the card didnt even flinch(as far as framerates go)

Cons: Gets super hot! I think i fried my GPU, as it overheated twice(blacked out my display) and runs at 82 degrees celsius when running simple games like Battlefront II.

Overall Review: Good card for the money. Excellent GPU speed, should be a good card until ATI comes out wtih something to compete with the GeForce 8800.

Pros: excellent gfx card.. huge jump from my previous x800.. love radeon.. wouldn't buy anything else.. its gigantic and i love it.. doesn't run as hot as you would expect

Cons: fan is not real strong, but runs fairly cool

Pros: great graphics. mainly play COD / COD2. maxed out graphics on everything and its still smooth.

Cons: none really.

Overall Review: i took the advice from the other reviews and didn't even waste my time with the stock heatsink and replaced it with a zalman. everything works smoothly.
