I don't believe so,  the fiji chip in the fury is not of the same type as the 390x.
For crossfire, they have to have the same architecture to work.

You need something with 2 8pin pcie power cables. I'd recommend 750watt, but you might be able to get away with 650watt although I wouldn't recommend it. Depending on the power draw of your cpu and other components a 750watt will give you room to spare. You never want to completely max out your psu.. I hope this helps. Also remember this card is huge so make sure you have room in your case.

Not at all. AMD has done away with bridgeson newer cards. Everything is done through PCI Express. Once both cards are installed, simply go to AMD software, go to advanced options, then enable crossfire

That is plenty of power supply to power a single fury card. I am running a similar power supply with about the same amp on the 12 volt rail. I having been running this card since December with a 4690k i5 overclocked.

Is this a true 2 slot card like the Asus Strix one? Or does it overhand the slot next to it making it a 3 slot card?

I only have the one but it appears to creep over a little bit to the slot above it.  I may buy a second one eventually but my motherboard has 3 slots so can use the top and bottom ones and still leave the gap in between.

Performance is so good on 1440p with this card that I don't think I'll be needing the second one right away though.

I have an Antec Eco 620w PSU that has one 8pin PCIE and one 6pin PCIE. Can I use one of those 6pin to 8pin adapters so that I have enough power to run this?

I recommend not doing a daisy chain with this card, it can pull up to 550w on its own merit when you overclock which may overload the rail.

If you must, use a 2 molex to 8 pin VGA adapter, but I'd really consider a 750W or greater power supply.

Would this card beat the rx480 sapphire variant? Tech youtubers say that this is an amazing card

The R9 Fury puts out about 10 fps more than the RX480. I'm not sure what screen resolution you game at, both would be overkill for 1080. Go with the less expensive card unless you are operating at higher resolutions.

This is labelled as a "AMD Radeon R9 300 Series". Does that mean you can Crossfire with the R9 390X?

No.  This uses different chip than the 390x.  The 390x uses a full Grenada chip which is a refined version of the Hawaii chip that was used in the 290x, whereas this Fury uses a cut down version of the Fiji chip that is used in the Fury X.  Crossfire does not work between cards that use different chips.

Barely, they are 2.5 slot cards and it will be very tight, you would likely have heat problems.

Is this card better than the RX 480?

Overall performance yup! You can find some benchmarks online, but the card is definitely a little faster. Now don't let the 4gigs of VRAM scare you since it is HBM RAM which performs faster than the standard GDR5. In the end, 4gigs is 4gigs of space, but I've been able to run everything on Ultra like BF1, and Doom at 1440p with 80+ FPS easy. Hope this helps! I'd buy it again over the RX480 especially if its at the same price. Now if it was double the price then id say no haha.
