The 40mm super-low profile CPU cooler Kozuti was developed for use in home theater PCs (HTPC) and slim chassis systems. The Kozuti is equipped with three 6mm heat pipes, which are arranged in a low profile oval structure by applying the newly developed S.F.M.S (Stealth Fan Mounting Structure). This provides space for the 80 x 80 x 10mm fan mounting in between the oval structure and below the fins, making the cooler merely 40mm in height. The Kozuti is recommended for processors up to 65 Watt TDP (up to 95 Watt TDP only with maximum rpm).

  • newegg Super-Low profile CPU Cooler Only 40 mm in height – ideal for height-constrained chassis.
  • newegg S.F.M.S (Stealth Fan Mounting Structure) By introducing the newly developed S.F.M.S, a super mini cooler - no taller than 40mm - is achieved by mounting a fan directly under the fins, which is compatible with more small form factor PCs, such as Mini-ITX case, slim case, etc.
  • newegg E.I.S (Easy Installation with Screw) Easy and safe installation with screws instead of using a backplate. The Kozuti features universal compatibility with most current platforms including Intel LGA775/1155/1156/1366 and AMD Sockets AM2/AM2+/AM3.
  • newegg PWM Fan speed is automatically regulated by the PWM signal of the mainboard. The fan operates within the range of 800 to 3300 rpm, depending on the load.

Great cooler for my Node 202! 2/22/2018 12:07:35 PM

Pros: Its fairly quiet...blends in with all my other fans.
dose a great job...for my setup.
performed as good as i hoped if not better!

Cons: I have nothing to complain about with this cooler and my setup.

Overall Review: I have a Node 202. So cooling is a major pain... or it was anyways. I was using a Noctua cooler on a I7-7700(non k) 65 TDP. It ran hot. Up to 100C hot. I had to turn the turbo boost off to keep the temps under 80 while gaming with my Asus GTX 1080 Turbo. So I added a CRYORIG XT140 fan to CPU intake vent on the Node 202. That helped a lot. I can now feel the heat being pushed out the top exhaust vent. I was able to turn turbo boost back on and have temps in the mid 80s. I was happy. I have since then moved on to a I5-8600K 95 TDP and, after hours of looking, this SCKZT-1000. Its the best cooler I could find for my set up. The fins sit just under then XT140 slim fan. I'm currently OC to 4.7 on all cores and sitting at 35 degrees. Gaming it get to the 80s. I'm vary happy with this cooler plus the CRYORIG XT140.

Very low profile. 95W is a stretch though. 5/31/2014 1:28:07 AM

Pros: Very low profile.
Would be perfect for a 65W cpu.
Solid build quality, fairly simple install on an FM2+ board.
Reasonable sound levels at max speed.

Cons: The manufacturer's website claim it can handle a 95W CPU with the fan at full speed. It gets a tad hotter than I would like (7 degrees from max temp under stress testing).

I felt like the stock cooler was better, and I believe the fan is the issue. I feel like this 80mm fan could stand to spin a bit faster (the stock cooler's fan puts out a touch more air at a smaller diameter). The stock cooler will not fit my case though.

I had to mount mine 90 degrees off the instructions or the heat pipes would have blocked a RAM slot. Still rides against one RAM stick.

Overall Review: Bought this with the intent to build a seriously compact/portable PC that provides decent power. It fits that role nicely, though I do kind of wish I had waited for the A8-7600; I think it would be a better fit.

The case I've got this in is about as small as a mini itx case can get, and I'm sure this isn't adding to the cooling efficiency. I have more modification to do to this case to get it where I want it still.

Newegg's price is almost double their competitors at this time (currently $66, I paid $28). I would suggest shopping around.

ITX w/i7 5/16/2012 12:42:57 PM

Pros: Fit in an apevia x-fit 100, and I put a 15x80mm fan on top for push pull. So I have a 2600k z68 running fine slightly 4gigs @54c, in a rig the size of cigar box.

Cons: none.

Overall Review: the top fan I added with zip ties was this one:

Noisey, just a bit. 4/18/2012 9:47:50 PM

Pros: Nice and low profile, good price point, build is great, nice looking unit.

Cons: This can be a noisy unit if it's on high and your system needs the cooling. For my build it seemed to have to be always 75 from full throttle half of the time. Although the heatsink is low profile it may tend to intefere with your CPU and RAM placement on a ITX build.

Almost perfect...almost 4/16/2012 1:15:06 PM

Pros: - Low Profile
- Reasonable Cooling performance
- Fan placed under primary cooling fins and heatpipes
- PWM Fan will work with Mainboard to maintain balance between loud/cool

Cons: - Did not work with fan flipped to blow "up" through the fins, which would have been ideal inside of the Lian-Li Q11-B Case I am using, so CPU heat exhausted straight out of the PSU exhaust fan. Fan continued to 'unexpectedly' rub on some unseen part of the Heatsink under low speeds (fine under high speeds...unbalanced fan blades maybe?)

- Cooling performance on the Zotac Z68ITX-A-E mainboard is lackluster. The mainboard itself is too claustrophobic to have the fan blow down towards the base, because it creates a static pressure bubble, preventing the fan from efficiently pulling cool air down over the heat pipes and fins. Unfortunately, as stated above, it didn't work 'blowing up' which would have removed the static pressure problem. End result? It runs hotter than it needs to in claustrophobic configurations

Overall Review: Currently used as thus:

Lianl-Li Q11-B Mini-ITX Tower Case
Zotac Z68ITX-A-E DDR3 / Socket 1155 Wifi Board
Intel Core i3-2105 3.1GHz HT 65W Dual-Core
Scythe Kozuti 40mm Heatsink Fan (Rated to 65W)
Corsair Vengeance DDR3-1600 8GB
Gigabyte UD GeForce GTX 560 Ti Graphics Adapter

Mounting hardware is cheap metal and parts did not work together. 2/28/2012 9:05:59 PM

Pros: Fan is reasonably quiet, though not the best. It's about as audible as your typical laptop fan on full blast. I'm sure it's fine on speed control inside a case though. (I was only able to test it full-tilt using a test power supply with no voltage control.)

Cons: Mounting hardware is nonfunctional. Didn't even make it to install.

It has adapter brackets to convert to socket 1155, right? Well three of the four mounting holes in the heatsink block weren't bored correctly, and stripped the screws on the way in. As I was testing the last good screw on the last untested hole in the heatsink block, mild pressure trying to turn the screw also bored out the phillips head. The screw was still only half of the way in, and had to be removed with pliers. I can't attach the adapter brackets, so I can't install the heatsink.

Overall Review: I've put together plenty of stuff over the years. Positive I had the correct bits in the correct places, and I was careful that the screw was aligned correctly. They all started out fine, and then started stripping their threads 1/3 of the way in. One screw went in fine, and three identical screws in the other holes ripped their threads.

low profile! 2/8/2012 6:57:03 PM

Pros: - low profile
- heatpipes

Cons: - pretty big in the other 2 dimensions

Overall Review: My JetWay JNC84E-LF mb is spinning this thing at 3685 rpm and it's LOUD! Probably it would be as silent as others report if I could reduce the rpm but the mb does not provide much control.

Kozuti CPU Cooler 12/1/2011 1:42:15 PM

Pros: Looks like it would have done the job....But beware, its too low profile for my Motherboard. It hits both heats sinks on both sides, Memory fins and The heatsink on board.
It would have been perfect for the price. No problems at all returning it. I took one star away due to newegg not giving me a upc printout untill the second email. Newegg was a bit slow getting back to me. I needed a cooler and couldnt wait on new egg. First email was just the address...So Im out $8.00. No big deal...I will still buy from newegg.

Cons: Very low profile...other than it not fitting my board...Thats not the cooler companies fault. I should have measured
