Pros: Small size. Plenty of cables and adapters for everything. Enough power for my i7 rig. Installation was easy (although had a little bit of trouble fitting it into my Antec P182 case, but nothing a few cable ties couldn't fix). So far has proven to be reliable and I keep my computer powered on throughout most of the day.

Cons: A Bit Pricey. If you are looking for efficiency over wattage I would definitely recommend this power supply otherwise just get a 1000W 80 Plus Certified PSU and it'll do the same thing as this one for probably a lower price.

Overall Review: I use my rig mostly for HD Video Editing, 3D Title Effects, and Gaming and so far this power supply has done a great job of powering my rig for just what I need. I have not tested to see how far I can take it, but for what I have used it for it seems to be more than proficient. I haven't had to deal with SeaSonic's customer service yet, because I haven't had any issues with this PSU so I can't say anything about that. But this product has proven to be more than a good investment so far. Pros: Price is the best in it's power /quality class. I got mine for $139 shipped. Great efficiency - Pulls less from the wall, under identical conditions, than my other high end unit did (brand = prop driven fighter airplane). Rock solid 12v, 5v, and 3.3v, even under heavy load with SLI GTX285's and I7 @ 4200mhz. Lots of cables for all types of uses. Nice fat 13 amp power cord.

Cons: Warranty is only 5 years as compared to the 7 the competition offers. Power cord is only 5 feet long. All the ones I've ever had up to this point have been 6 feet??? I wish they'd just use a 4+4pin for the EPS 12v, rather than a 4+4 in addition to the 8pin. I hate trying to tuck that extra hardwired cord away.

Overall Review: FYI: Under full load of linpack and furmark concurrently, I'm pulling ~870w from the wall. At the efficiency rating of this unit, at the wattage (86%), my system is using 748.2w. This is with an i7 W3520 @ 210x21 (4200mhz) and a pair of GTX285's at 780-1687-1440. Plus 2 ddc pumps and 5 fans.

Pros: Quiet. Fits perfectly in my Mountain Mods case. Plenty of cables. So far so good!

Cons: None as of yet.

Overall Review: Powers Intel i7 920, X58 mobo, 5 hard drives, water cooling, and a 4870 X 2 video card!

Pros: Excellent selection of connectors. Has proven reliable in a high demand environment. Maybe the best 850w that I have installed. i7920 @3.4, 985GTX, Corsair 1600 at 1736, Asus P6T Deluxe OC palm. Full rebate delivered even though second barcode submission after closure date.

Cons: Stiff cables.

Pros: Just got this unit installed. It was very easy to install and came with every connector you could need. The modular design makes it nice and cable management easier. It easily powers my system and is plenty quiet. Seems good so far.

Overall Review: The box had obviously been damp at some point. I don't know if this is SeaSonics, Newegg, or UPS's fault, but everything works fine so I won't sweat it. I'd definetely buy again.

Pros: I am very satisfied with this selection of the PSU unit that I chose for my new core i7 build. Due to my case not being able to house a long huge PSU unit, I needed a unit that had some good strong clean power in a relatively small compact size, and the quietness of the unit was also a major concern. The previous PSU I used in my last build was loud enough to drown out a girls gone wild movie.

Cons: I haven't found one con with this unit other than the steep price it cost but in my opinion It was worth the price to me, I felt I had to have 850 watts, and wanted silence and finally tried the modular design. What a breath of fresh air. I have cables galore left over for future expansion. They need to package this slightly different. My first box of my order came in a box full of peanuts and paper. here came this, the MB/CPU/GPU etc, and not one peanut or piece of paper used resulting in a couple of the molex connectors to be protruding outside the factory carton. Someone in shipping really didn't get this one right, but luckily for them it didn't hurt anything permanent, not this time at least.

Overall Review: This is one great PSU, sorry to hear of the one poster who had a problem, I didn't encounter any problems at all, so maybe this is just an isolated incident, let's hope so. I am really enjoying mine, it performs flawlessly, it is very quiet and has all the power I needed for my new system. I am very satisfied with this well built product. Thanks Newegg.

Pros: Excellent regulation and efficiency. Free shipping is a big deal as this is the heaviest power supply I have ever purchased. You're barely aware it even has a fan if your draw 400 watts or less. Very high quality, plenty of extras, and no frivilous stuff. Money well spent by Seasonic. Service as well. This unit is fine, but my prior unit failed after almost 3 years. Replacement part was incredibly swift, it was sent out the day they received my old one. That counts a lot towards me being a repeat buyer. I realize that all companies are playing the rebate game. I appreciate the adequate amount of time for me to mail the rebate in. Some companies clearly want to you to jump unnecessary hurdles with deadlines measured with a stop watch. Who needs those hassles?

Cons: As noted, the SATA power connectors are upside down. Not a biggy, but somebody wasn't thinking. Still 5 stars.

Overall Review: A pity there are so few reviews here, as I suspect the people who have had problems are very few in number.

Pros: Quiet and Powerful .... what else do you need? Fit my ATX case no problem and modular keeps things pretty neat and tidy.

Cons: It wasn't free?

Overall Review: Better than Zalman if you need a quiet PSU.
