4 yrs no issues 3/16/2018 8:11:34 AM

Pros: Seasonic scream quality. I've had this PSU for over 4 years now running an 3570K overclocked with a 7950 and now a GTX1070 in my little brothers machine and it's still pumping out steady juice. One of three seasonics I've purchased and they are all still running. I also love how they always come with a bag/pouch and they include extras cables for upgrading later. Seasonic knows what they are doing. They will always have a customer in me.

Cons: None so far

Performs great 10/25/2016 10:54:34 AM

Pros: Excellent for new Z170 motherboards. I installed this on my Corsair 750D case and it fits very good for a big case and its modular. It performs good and the fan is extremely quiet.

(10/25/16): Thank you Seasonic for an excellent customer service.

Cons: - After almost 7 months of purchase, my HTPC began to randomly shutdown or reboot, starting to show that the ASUS motherboard activated the power surge protection. I found out that the 12V rail of the PSU was giving between 13.6V - 14.3V, and when the computer goes through stress it shutdowns. Im currently doing the RMA procedures to send it.....

UPDATE (10/25/16):

It was the motherboard and not the PSU!! When I got the PSU back from RMA, the ASUS motherboard readings were at 20V-22V and still activating the anti-surge protection. Definitely something else was off. Took a voltmeter and measured the 12V side of the sata, atx and PCIe power cables. Everything was giving flat 12.00V. The ASUS Z170A motherboard gives you the option to turn off the anti-surge protection. I turned it off, and everything was working fine.

Lesson learned: As a good practice, always have a voltmeter to diagnose PSU problems and never trust fully monitor readings from a motherboard.

Nice and powerful. 3/10/2016 2:51:44 AM

Pros: - Its got enough headroom to run sli and corssfire configs with some OC going on.

Cons: - The power connectors look a little squished together.

Overall Review: I had the fans being really loud as a con before, but it's not the fan or the psu. It was my case being really low to the ground. The 200r's risers are minimal to say the least and allowed no air flow making the psu over extend its fan speed. I put some risers under my pc and boom, quiet as a fiddle.
