Can Someone please tell me how this product would be good for a gaming pc?

It's got incredibly good Voltage regulation across all rails, and Titanium Level efficiency (which means even if you idle at 10% (85 watt) loads, you're still getting 90% or greater efficiency. The soldering for the modular board is perfect, ensuring solid connections and power delivery no matter how many of the modular cables you need to connect.

That all stated, the vast majority of users over-estimate their power usage. Even an overclocked 9900K and Vega 64 consumes less than 400 watts gaming. So if you're playing with a non-HEDT CPU, and a single GPU, save yourself the money and increase your efficiency by getting the 650 Watt model.

How many 8-pin connectors does this come with as I am gonna buy the RTX 3080 ROG STRIX and I know it requires 3 8-pin connectors?

Comes with (2) 8 pins for CPU and (6) 8 pins for PCIe

Can I plug in 6-pin pci-e canles into the 6-pin “peripheral” connector?  Im not sure if those 6-pin connectors are only for sata/molex I assume that a 6-pin pci-e cable is fine since its only 75w just like molex but not positive

There are already 8 PCI-e connectors on the power supply. If you need more than that, I suspect you need a larger power supply than 850W. As Bob S. replied, the SATA/Molex connectors are not designed for PCI-e current loads.

Does the 850w still have a shutdown issues with 3080/3090 FEs?
