Pros: -3060 performance is great in all games tested
-Colors are great
Cons: -Gets hot in number pad area
-Acoustics but to be expected
-Speakers are not loud enough
Overall Review: For what you get at this price it's almost a no Brainerd. It handles flight sim 2020 well on ultra high settings in all areas of the world. I'm very pleased.
This is my first gaming laptop. I have always built my own and currently use a desktop for gaming and streaming. I wanted something for on the go and Acer delivered on this laptop.-
Pros: the performance is amazing for the price, runs all the games i played before at amazing frame rates
the 144hz screen is an amazing touch and its really smooth
Cons: the keyboard isnt the best but i mainly use it for light gaming so its alright
im not a fan of the track pad either but i have my own mouse so eh
the screen is fairly dim even at full brightness, i have looked at as many settings as i could but i dont think i can get it brighter
the battery life isnt the best
Overall Review: i think this is a great buy for people who like to do light gaming on the move, its really nice and its fairly quite(at least for the games i play)
i would say this product is an 8/10 and im very happy with my purchase
Pros: Big laptop, perfect for gaming.
Number pad on the right side.
Buttons feel nice, smooth and no resistance when pushing down.
Battery stays for a good while (2 hours unplugged).
Cons: I feel a little scammed. The laptop holds two memory cards, but they only gave me one. Not sure if it was supposed to be included or not.
It had NitroSense but does not seem to work with windows 11, only 10 bit 64 so sad. NitroSense was a cool setup and gave me rainbow keyboards.
Overall Review: Always have your computer friend look over the specs first. Thoroughly. Dont let them skim through it like my friend did. Then another pointed out something may have been missing.
Pros: Sleek, cool looking laptop. Pretty sexy looking build, all around.
Cons: No easy access to battery. Battery is built in and unable to purchase replacement; must send unit back to manufacturer for battery replacement. No easy access to battery also means there's no battery reset, which was the problem for me; unit was DOA, wouldn't charge, and wouldn't turn on.
Overall Review: Honestly, returned the unit and purchased something with a replaceable battery (that didn't require me to RTM to have it done) and easier to access expansion slots to upgrade NVMe slots.
Pros: Plays everything that I like to play on high settings.
Cons: It gets a little hot. Consider 3rd party thermal paste.
Overall Review: Generally it's a great laptop. I enjoy it.
Overall Review: I wanted a machine that I can use to game and for school. Meets my needs. Games run so so so smooth. I don't have any overheat issues at max settings and I don't notice the fans if I'm wearing headphones. I cranked the fan to max speed once to test it and my partner could hear it from the hallway. The keyboard feels great (sound is pleasant, key travel is clean, it is roomy), though the front edge of the laptop is a little sharp and can get uncomfortable. It's lightweight so it's comfortable in a backpack. The case is all plastic, but it doesn't feel cheap or flimsy.
The biggest drawback: the battery. I do not game with it unplugged because I've noticed some performance dropping if it's running only on battery. With basic everyday use and the laptop set to power saver mode, I can get around 6 hours on a full charge. If I was taking it on a long plane or train ride, I either would have to set near a electrical outlet or I wouldn't plan on using it much.
I've had this laptop for almost four month now. If you are looking for something that can perform and you want to stay in budget, I recommend it.
Pros: For what I do with this laptop, its a stellar upgrade from my last pc with a gtx1660,the rxt 3060 is blazing fast with full raytracing, at 1080 I get 70 fps or better on high settings. I'm going to upgrade the memory to 32g and install a 2tb SATA drive soon. Couldn't be happier
Cons: Dim screen weak tinny speakers
Overall Review: With the current market for gpus, this is a must have for any beginner or novice online gamer. I would recommend 100/100 times
Pros: So far, it runs most recent games at 1440p max settings just fine at around 100fps or more, (1440p because I hooked it up to my monitor). So, for a 1200 dollar laptop that's pretty good.
It cools itself just fine, though I make sure to elevate it by placing something under the back. Like it gets hot, but not overheating or hurt to touch hot
Cons: Battery life is pretty short, like two hours at best. So if you plan on taking it places often, be warned about that. I think that's where the low price comes in, is they didn't get a battery to match all the other high end specs.
Windows 10 is Windows 10, mine deleted itself day 1 and I had to completely reinstall windows from an outside source.
Overall Review: Overall, an amazing budget gaming laptop that I would recommend to anyone who doesn't want to shell out double this just to get into the range of things better than it.
