The Shuttle XPC Barebones SH67H3 was designed for Intel's latest "Sandy Bridge" platform to handle more intensive tasks than before. It is based on the Intel H67 chipset and ready for LGA1155 processors of the Intel Core i7 / i5 / i3 series with integrated graphics (up to 95 W TDP). Despite its compact dimensions, the SH67H3 still provides room for an additional PCI-Express dual-slot graphics card, four DDR3 memory slots and two 3.5" HDDs. Multi-display is also possible thanks to the HDMI and DVI connections. The SH67H3 also comes with an array of cutting-edge ports including 2x SATA 6Gb/s, 4x USB 3.0, 2x eSATA, along with Gigabit LAN and 8-channel audio with S/PDIF out. With a high efficiency 300W power supply and effective Heatpipe cooling system, the SH67H3 stays well-cooled even under the toughest conditions. This Mini-PC is sleek, stylish, compact and high performing - a status symbol to sit on your desk!

  • newegg Supports Intel 32nm Sandy Bridge Processors The Intel microarchitecture codename Sandy Bridge is an incredible leap in processor integration and manufacturing introduced in the 2nd generation Intel Core processor family. Manufactured entirely on Intel 32nm process technology, Sandy Bridge unifies processor cores, memory controller, last-level cache (LLC), and graphics and media processing. Such tight integration enables a host of performance and efficiency improvements, including fast access by cores and graphics to shared data in the last-level cache to accelerate graphics processing, fewer buses over which data and signaling must travel for faster processing, and more memory bandwidth for the cores to boost system performance.
  • newegg 4x USB 3.0 & 2x SATA 6Gb/s The USB 3.0 connectors of the SH67H3 allow for data transfer of up to 5 Gbit/s. This enables external devices such as USB hard disks to be connected and run at nearly the same speed as their internal siblings. USB 3.0 is downward compatible so that also devices of previous USB generations can be hooked up. With SATA 6Gb/s ports, internal high performance drives such as SSDs can use their full potential and thus run significantly faster.
  • newegg 8-channel HD Audio plus S/PDIF Output The superior high-definition sound not only gives that perfect cinema feeling at home, it also offers optimal sound quality for your Skype VOIP telephone conferencing. Conveniently located ports ensure ultimate user friendliness. SPDIF allows the transmission of audio signals in digital quality. The sound of films, music and games is sent to the terminal via fibre-optic or coax cable without any data loss.
  • newegg Supports Dual-Slot Graphics Cards and Two Hard Disks Despite the small housing, the SH67H3 is capable of running dual-slot (double-height) PCI Express graphics cards. Furthermore, you can install one optical drive and up to two hard disks into the SH67H3.
  • newegg Small, but Easy to Install Shuttle XPCs offer the performance of a desktop PC at a third of the size while using standard desktop components. Shuttle keeps the concept of being "futureproof" in mind when designing the H3 chassis. The meticulously designed internal layout features pre-routed cables to reduce clutter, increase airflow and make the installation of components easy.
  • newegg Optimal Cooling Shuttle's industry-leading I.C.E. heatpipe technology delivers efficient cooling and is exceptionally quiet. Warm air is transported out of the chassis by means of cleverly arranged components, which enables a large number of parts to be cooled simultaneously in the air flow. At no time can heat build up and adversely affect the stability of the system.

Four Years and Still Running Great 12/31/2017 1:37:11 PM

Pros: Small size is great for a desktop with limited space.
Perfect for a business machine -- maybe good for gaming with a graphics card.
Absolutely beautiful construction.
Faster than it deserves to be.

Cons: Little room for expansion.
Replacement motherboard probably too expensive or not available.

Overall Review: Built this for my wife's office. She's a court reporter. I used a Core i3-3220, 4GB G.Skill RAM, 500GD WD HD, DVD burner and a floppy. Last year I needed to replace failed RAM. Other than that, this thing is actually quite fast -- faster than I would expect it to be. I've built many PC's and this one is amazing.

This was the second Shuttle I built for my wife. The first one, an XPC SN21G5 running an Athlon 64 4000+ and 1GB of RAM, unfortunately went in the trash because the motherboard died and there was no replacement available. Such a shame since the case was absolutely beautiful.

I would happily build another Shuttle when the time comes to upgrade.

I purchased 3 of these all have issues. 10/11/2017 7:07:21 AM

Pros: small

Cons: support is horrible, and they dont keep up with updating their drivers and bios.

Overall Review: Not recommend to anyone. All 3 systems experience similar issues where it wont boot up properly locking up at windows logo, or system will just completely freeze up and have to cold boot it.

Put RAM in slot 1 and 3 Red Slots 3/20/2014 8:38:46 PM

Pros: Seems ok now once I figured out RAM population instructions were incorrect. I am replacing some 10 year old Shuttle mini systems, hope these last as long.

Cons: Put the system together and it wouldn't POST. I build a lot of different systems so it's a good thing when a build does not POST because I have known good parts around to troubleshoot. So in this case it took 2 hours instead of 20 minutes. When the system would not POST I started the usual take it back down, reseat the RAM, reseat the CPU etc. Then I started switching parts same results NO POST. Double checked all components for compatibility, scoured the Shuttle website for information etc. As a last resort I tried putting the RAM modules in the Red slots 1 and 3 instead of the Yellow slots 2 and 4 like the Quick Start, Website, and FAQ tell you to do at Shuttle website. System went through POST and is now up and running.

Overall Review: This system has been out for a while, it's frustrating that nobody has mentioned this problem. Further thought leads me to think the build reviews that were successful were installing 4 RAM modules instead of just 2.

This thing rocks! 3/12/2014 7:19:06 AM

Pros: I have had this for two years. It has been one of the most reliable electronics purchases I have made. It has been rock solid as a gaming machine and also when repurposed to run vmware esxi with multiple virtual machines running 24/7. A lot of people underestimate the power supply and upgrade it. Running the factory 300watt power supply I am running an i5 2500k, 16gb ram, radeon 260x, 1x ssd, 1x hdd and 1x dvd burner.

Cons: The obvious downside is limited room for extra hardware. You expect this when purchasing a small form factor machine. I would say this takes advantage of the space much better than many other SFF devices (full height pci vs half height, can fit long video cards, etc) but it is impossible to add another pcie network adapter with a large video card installed.

Overall Review: This would be great for someone who wants a SFF desktop machine that doesnt sacrifice the performance and features of a full size desktop. Excellent for small working spaces or portability for taking it to LAN parties etc.

2/22/2014 8:59:42 AM

Pros: Going from a huge full tower case to this, I was nervous that I would have a hard time installing components into this tiny machine. Fortunately, this wasn't the case (no pun intended) and this was an extremely easy build. Cable management is very good, and this machine looks very nice both inside and out.

Cons: My primary gripe with this box involves the static from the front mic input. I see that I'm not the only one with this issue. This machine is also louder than I thought it would be (not a deal-breaker, of course, but annoying).

Overall Review: This is a very nice little machine if you're looking for something small. I'm running Arch Linux on this thing and it works great.

Shuttle -- A Sweet Bookshelf Computer 2/10/2014 9:30:53 PM

Pros: Great bookshelf computer. Well built, everything fits. Motherboard is very well built. Has adequate space for additional cards and DVD drive.

Cons: None

Overall Review: Note, this IS a barebones system and you DO have to purchase a processor and memory. It comes like it has a processor in it, but you do have to purchase one. It IS really sweet!

Great little desktop 1/29/2014 1:42:46 PM

Pros: This is a great machine; small and compact with a built-in graphics. I would suggest only getting the CPUs that are recommended for this desktop. At the company I work for we are currently upgrading all of our desktops and the Shuttle is the standard we are using.

Cons: The only problem we have encountered with the Shuttle is the type and size of RAM installed. We tried (2) sticks of 8gb PNY RAM and the CPU crashed on multiple occurrences. We have since switched to sticks of 4gb PNY RAM and have not had an issues since.
