SilverStone FN83 80mm Case Fan

Pros: quiet fan

Cons: will not fit if you have two 80mm fans next to each other but thats my stupidity for not thinking about overall size

Overall Review: could not use them but i turned one on to see how much noise and air it moved seems like a great fan

Pros: I tested about a dozen fans with this one, and this one actually does work to the specs. About 20dba/30CFM. Screw mounts are setup so its supposed to be an exhaust only fan. Mounting it as an intake has a very small effect on noise and CFM, so go for it if you want, just need some long screws/bolts.

Cons: None really.

Pros: im a person who's very picky about noise and this fan is perfect. it is extremely quiet!! had it for 2 months now and my comp is on 24/7, no problems so far. use this as a side panel exhaust.

Pros: This is a 90mm fan with 80mm holes, if you have the room for it, it's a great fan.

Cons: Slight low frequency drone noise that is more detectable at a distance than the high pitched whoosh of a stock fan... still a lot quieter close up and if not for this wold have given it a rating of 5.

Overall Review: Much better than the stock fans fans on my Lian Li PC-V800B which remind me of a 747 at takeoff.

Pros: Moves a ton of air fairly quietly.

Cons: pre-threaded holes would've been nice, but not a big deal.

Overall Review: Not sure why people complain about the size - it's advertised as 92mm and appears to be about that size, but you should expect to have a bit more clearance anyway. Amazingly, this fits perfectly in a C-Series eMachines case just fine. Fan isn't completely silent, but the noise is low-pitched and overwhelmed entirely by the central heating/air conditioning in my house, so it's not an issue

Pros: For its price, this is definitely NOT a bad fan! As long as you make sure you have clearence for the 92mm diameter circle, this is an excellent choice. Silverstone is a well known and trusted maker of power supplies, and i am pleased that they offer high cfm/low dBa choices.

Overall Review: If you are considering purchasing this, MAKE SURE you have the room in your case for it. The circles diameter is 92mm, and the mounting holes are 80mm.

Pros: Noise level much less than expected. Air flow much higher than expected.

Cons: It doesn't super-cool my CPU so fusion & time travel appear to be out of the question.

Overall Review: I was reluctant on this due to the design. My previous case fan could be mounted inside or outside of the case. Fortunately, it fit perfectly inside the case.
