does this converter allow installing 2- ssd drives into an apple powerbook laptop that currently has one ssd drive installed?

No it's designed convert 2 laptop drives to a standard 3.5 desktop Hard drive size.

Will this work in a Dell 780 SFF? The Dell carrier has a fan in it and I just want to make sure the adapter doesn't interfere with the fan.
